Big mistake going to the office yesterday.  Should have tried to work from home.

But i guess wanting to feel better to see a Kristin Chenoweth concert wouldn't have been a good excuse to give the folks in the office.  :)

Playing a game of "What if" as in What if I really decide not to go to the concert?

Julie can sit in the seat I originally got for myself.  Milla's back in row Y, maybe I could upgrade her to one of the unused seats.  And Jose will use the extra ticket that's going unused from another friend.

A sticky ticket wicket.

I  certainly don't want to leave any seat empty.  Because then, even though it's sold out, people will say "well, I saw empty seats" and then that would be my fault.  And I don't want anything to be my fault, especially questions about whether the Chenoweth concert was 100% sold out.

'Morning all!  3 quick things:

1) This site has only provided me more conclusive evidence that my mother is a wonderfully odd duck.  And a quick wit, if I may say so...

2) TOD: CD Player - The Guy Haines' vocal tracks of "The Brain."  Methinks I need an Original Cast Album to replace that one, as much as I love to hear Guy Haines sing "Good Girl/Bad Girl" and "Bring Me An Earthman."

DVD Player - The second season of "The Office" - American.

3)  Vibes for my play's first run-through/designer's run!  There have been steps forward, steps backward, and steps in other sundried directions these past couple of weeks...so now we'll see just where we are at.  Yet, at this point, any good vibes would not be wasted - in fact, they would be very much appreciated!

Friday greetings!  It's an information-waitressing day for me, which is why I'm late logging on here.  We're fairly busy today.

Media check - CD(car) - I'm about to finish the audiobook version of Lee Smith's On Agate Hill, which I've enjoyed very much and which makes me want to visit western North Carolina again.

On my iPod, I'm listening to Byrn Terfel's Tutto Mozart to accompany my reading of Jane Glover's Mozart's Women.  It's my book group selection for February.

DVD/VCR - Will DH Richard have connected our new combo player by the time I get home from work?

Excellent vibes and xylophones to Cason and his show and cast.  Be sure to let us know exact dates and times so that we Los Angeleszians can make the trek.

Cough-supression vibes for DR FJL - you don't want to miss Kristin!  We saw her with the Cincinnati Pops 2 years ago.

Have had bad line nopise problems this morning which is why I haven't been around so much. It wouldn't clear up, so I went ahead and got my errands done about a half an hour earlier than usual.

These seating concerns may sound trivial, so i hope nobody's googling these posts twenty years from now and drawing conclusions as to what really concerned me while the world was in crisis.

DR Rodzinski,

I got your DVD-R in the mail this morning before noon, so if we keep our fingers and toes crossed, maybe you'll get it by Monday. I sent it 1st class.

Easiest way - get off as if you were going to my house (at Laurel Canyon).  Go NORTH instead of south (if coming south on the 101 you turn left from the off ramp - if coming north turn right).  Go to Burbank Blvd. and take it all the way to Third Street - it's about five miles, and Burbank dead ends just before Third.

Would i turn right or left on Burbank, to get to Third??

Since I didn't buy the Taylor-Burton boxed DVD set, and they're not selling THE VIPs separately (at least not yet), I went ahead and recorded if off TCM this week so I could burn myself a DVD-R of it. I burned one for a friend the last time the movie came on TCM, but I didn't get one for myself.

Of course, I haven't gone to Ebay to see if anyone is selling THE VIPs apart from the boxed set. That worked out well for TOO MANY GIRLS. Perhaps lightning will strike twice for me.

...New Book working title is: Endings - Leaving, Grieving, Letting Go. And, yes, it is a musical...

Is there a part in it for me  ;) ?

Congratulations on your degree-completion plan, DR PennyO!
