I like the Randy Newman lyrics - pure Randy all the way.  Is this a new album or strictly an iTunes thing?

What did Jose do for elmore's myspace page, and should we blame him?

Hmm...  To IKEA or not to IKEA?... Hmm...

My sister LOVES Ikea.  She just went yesterday and called me to tell me that she has some gifts for me. :D

TCM is showing a Cracked movie right now....Anne Baxter is a high diving artiste in love with NO GOOD Steve Cochran.  CARNIVAL STORY.  It will be followed by Michael Callan in THE FLYING FONTAINES, which I have always wanted to see!

My question for ASK BK day:

Have you ever been to the West Indies or the Bahamas?

While I've been all over the US, the only place outside of the US that I've visited is Canada.  Isn't that ridiculous?

I see Jose has help elmore set up a music page.  I suppose I should do one for Kritzerland - maybe Jose can help?

And I have one word for elmore - I'll spell it backwards (he'll know what I mean)

Maybe this has been posted before, but since we were talking about magic recently, this is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen:

http://snipurl.com/changeisgood

This was from "America's Got Talent."  And they were VERY good!  The problem that the British judge had (and I totally agreed) was that the couple said that they had a 90 minute act, but each week they came back and did the exact same thing!  Everyone else did something new each week...for good or bad.  This couple only had different costumes/wigs each week, but they performed the exact same 90 seconds of their 90 minute act.  It got boring (as incredible as it was) after seeing it over and over and over and over. :-\

My space on MYSPACE is empty as well.   It can be a very frustrating place to try to fix or work on....or maybe that is just if you are of a certain age....as they used to say.

He has almost enough material for another album. When I saw him in November, he was throwing around the idea of going into the studio in January, but I don't think anything has happened. I need to write his manager today so I'll ask.

Re: last night's AMERICAN IDOL

I like it so much better when they show the best people (and the good people) vs seeing the bad people.

My favorite last night was the back-up singer. I thought she was really sweet. ANd she has a great voice.

I also liked this blonde girl who randy did not like (he said she would be out in the first round).

And i too was a bit surprised they did not take the male cheerleader.

I liked the show and am so happy it is back. I think the dean mystery should be interesting. I love seeing more of mac and i really liked her new love interest.  I'm not sure the whole monkey escapade took that much effort. But unlike DR MattH i was thrilled when veronica showed up at logan's door. I like piz alright. But i really like LOVE (logan and veronica) together.  I was not expecting that!

BK, that is surprising that you've never been to london. Or even Mexico or some other island.  I have not travelled that much.  But i have been to london, and a number of islands (including bahamas, barbados, st thomas ...).

I have a "current favorite" (thankfully) in the new "American Idol":

He's Sundance Head...and they've NEVER had a voice like his in the competition.

Also, there's also Melinda Doolittle, a woman who has been singing backup all her life.  She's terrific...if obviously nervous as hell.  They put her through telling her to believe in herself!

I was actually just going to post about him. He's the guy who is bald and whose wife had the baby that day, right? I also really like him.

And melinda doolittle is the woman i described in my other post. I love her too.

Hey what do you know. Those were my two favorites. We agree! :)

Same here, BK.  I've been to all but 8 states, but only border towns in Canada and Mexico internationally.  When I whine about it, DH Richard reminds me that I could have spent time in Europe the way he did (in the Army).

I love Mexico, too...especially Oaxaca. We shot there after an earthquake, during Day of the Dead. It was beautiful and the people were so great!

No.  Sundance Head was the heavy fellow with the HUGE bluesy voice...full head of hair...and Simon commented to Paula and Randy as Sundance left the room, "He just blew Taylor apart".

JRand56, I got my ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK / DON'T KNOCK THE ROCK dvd yesterday! Woohoo! The first film I haven't seen since I was in High School, and the second one I have never seen!

I didn't order the TWIST AROUND THE CLOCK / DON'T KNOCK THE TWIST yet, but I may at a later date (I have both on DVDr).

Another vote for England with a side trip to Ireland.  I am sure DR CP would be a wonderful guide to all things British!  ;D

But be warned, though the UK may sound very tempting:  I normally don't have problems with such things, still even I found some relatively expensive hotel rooms in the UK tiny and claustrophobic.
