What is it, fish?

Now my iPod is playing Slaughter On Tenth Avenue from the Goddard Lieberson On Your Toes LP - it's my favorite recording of that piece ever - even though it's in lowly mono.  Such energy and playing.

I thought we'd at least have three hundred orders by now.  How do you people expect me to go to the Bahamas.

We don't expect you to go to the Bahamas.

We expect you to remain in Los Angeles County, traveling the streets in the City of Studio in perpetuity, constantly dining out at all the hot spots of your Kritzer books that remain open, writing and producing local plays and also producing CDs.  We will allow you one (count it ONE) visit to New York City per year to do the things you do there and to plan the things you have not done there but wish to do there.  We will grant you the right to roam freely about the continental United States.  With a chaperone, we will permit you to go to Alaska and Hawaii.  Allowances may be made every five years for a visit to the territories -- including Puerto Rico.

Your heart's devotion.

Unless it slips back in the ocean.

Playing the banjo quite well is an oxymoron.

I believe the old joke is:

Q.: What's perfect pitch?

A.: When you get the banjo in the dumpster on the first throw.

The Brain From Planet X and Joan Ryan should be available for pre-order within the next ten minutes at www.kritzerland.com  - There are photos, downloadable lyrics, but the sound clips won't be up until Monday night.  Order away.  Who will be first?

I think I need a complimentary copy...

As a matter of local interest, when will the titles begin shipping?

Good vibes for DR JOSE for his radiator, to DR EDISAURUS for dealing with Turner, for DR ELMORE, for DRMBARNUM, and All those wonderful people out there in the dark.

Thanks, JRand! The battle isn't over yet---I think I made a compelling arguement against going in-house and marshalled the troops to make my case. We'll see what happens on Monday---more meetings in store.

I should have copies in less than two weeks, so a good two weeks before street date of 2/27.
