Bank problems seem to be the rule of the day.  We switched to a new system and nothing is being posted for anyone who has an account with the credit union.

I have some savings but at least my bill money goes to my regular bank.  My only concern is the payment for Bonnie.    They had better not charge me a late fee for something that is beyond my control.

Oh, BTW (By The Way in internet speak), yesterday made 2 years that I have Bonnie.  I counted the mileage and have still driven less then 5 thousand miles.

Hi, Danise!  I was thinking about you yesterday and then you appeared last night.  Are you almost to your stop?

Heading down now to mop the kitchen floor and then to return to the rarefied world of Jane Austen.

I may not be taking the dogs to the dog park any more.  There has been several problems there.  Including one dog being killed by another dog.

Well, I have to go.

Have a good evening all!

FASHION TIP OF THE DAY:

Model walks the runway at the Marni Men's show during the Fall 2007 Fashion Week in Milan on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007.(Fashion Wire Daily/Gruber)
Quote
What's worse than leggings? Men in leggings

I didn't think leggings could really get any worse, unless this year saw the comeback of leggings' first cousin, the stirrup pant, but boy was I wrong. And when I say, "boy," I really do mean "boy." All the rage for this fall will be men in tights, and we're not talking about football.

At the Marni men's runway show in Milan last week, the designer sent men down the catwalk in leggings made of microfiber cotton and wool, which would not have been as bad if they were, say, black, but they were violet and forest green. And did I say stirrups pants would be worse than leggings? The men's leggings had stirrup straps.

While I could maybe see this working in some big cities in Europe, I just cannot imagine men in leggings walking around L.A

DerBrucer - can't do a HAMLET "I'm Still Here" with "Everybody dies," but how about:

A toast to someone who's never dull
A story much more bloody than Krull
Let's hear it for the guy with the skull
Everybody dies
Everybody dies
Dies
Dies
Dies

PAPILLON with Steve McQueen, with Dustin Hoffman playing the part of the little girl Tootsie!

Some say it has not aged well! But Dustin has! ;)

The CD master has been picked up - and in two weeks I should have Brain CDs for one and all and also all and one.  Now, if only my web designer would do what she promised she'd do and get the thing up for preorder.  She said no prob back on Wednesday, but she hasn't responded to any e-mails today.  Perhaps I'll call her on her cell and get an update.

I've got press releases and e-blasts standing by to announce our two new titles - can't do anything until she gets the stuff on the site, though.

...The almost ten year grandlad lad will be eligible for free music lessons at school next year..."No way!", says his Dad. "I don't want do be bothered with all that noise at home!"...In anticipation of this family crisis I had previously purchased an eight octave electronic keyboard with most of the bells and whistles (and which you can listen to through head phones) which has been cluttering up my dining room table for over a year).

The use of a keyboard with head-set has gained son-in-laws approval.
Of course, what happens when the younger grandlad decides he wants to learn how to play the trumpet...  ::)

At least their Mom was used to having music around the house.
Not that you'd know it from the amount of music their Mom has playing in her house, which totals less than zero.   :P

I played piano and guitar, not at all well and their Mom played guitar and Banjo - quite well.
Playing the banjo quite well is an oxymoron.
