There's actually a pretty amazing actress named Nora Mae Lyng who was fabulous in the (unfrotunately) short-lived musical AMOUR.

She's also on several of the Forbidden Broadway CDs. :)

Perhaps it's a reference to the prom mice in the high school version of Cinderella?

I'm watching a motion picture on DVD, but it's long and I may not finish it this evening and I also might not finish it this evening.

Good evening dear Esteemed BK -- glad the "pupick" (sp?) is feeling a little better!  A smal dab of dark chocolate might be soothing and healing.

I'm turning in now, as the eyes are getting weary.  I went and saw the motion picture "Letters from Iwo Jima" this evening, and it was very long and very intense in many places.  But it also had some very human and touching parts also, and that was a pleasant surprise.

Seriously, does anyone else think Austin Miller of the GREASE reality show would be an amazing Whizzer in FALSETTOS?  Or maybe Molina in SPIDERWOMAN?

There seems to be a dark side to him that comes across in the interview segments that made me think he has it in him to do the deeper gay tragic musical roles.

Good Evening!

A Gin & Tonic.

The pause that refreshes.

Especially since someone bought it for me.

And what a lovely number of posts to come back to too!

*It's sort of ironic that such a piece-of-crap show like "Grease:YTOTIW" would be causing such a high number of postings.  On a Sunday no less!

Shockingly, five hundred no longer puts us in the top ten - about 550 would do it, though.

That's been the only upside since the show debuted - the large number of Sunday postings.

RLP  congrats on you new set... will Matt be flying in to help set it up?  ;D

If I won the Lottery...and bought a house with a HUGE video room, DR MattH would be flow out immediately to help me plan the layout, help me find the right TV and all accoutrements.

I undoubtedly will take him up on his generous offer to help with the set up via e-mail or phone, though.

;D

I agree with Lord Lloyd Webber....there are about a half dozen Broadway-worthy contestants in the "Grease" finals.

The sooner the dross is elminated, the better.

What I did like about tonight's singoff is that neither of the two who left had the lowest number of votes.  The judges had the final say about who, from the bottom four, would actually leave.

Wish "American Idol" had that!

DR Larry Moore:  My thoughts and best VIBES are with you and your family during this stressful time.

When you get to speak with your Dad, tell him to go with love and joy in his heart and to embrace the light.

In any case...

It was a good set of callbacks, and there also happen to be a lot people here this year that I haven't seen in a while.  It's been mini-reunion after mini-reunion.

I think they should just follow DR Sandra around for a reality show. The folks on the bus, the preschool children, Oops Reports, eating paper plates, the futon activity....

DR Laura, that is exactly what I was just now thinking...that or Sandra could have her won sitcom based on her occupation...or maybe a kids program.

In any event, DR Sandra needs to put all of these experiences down on paper and put out a book! It would be hilarious!
