MBarnum, drop amazon a line and ask why there's no review link - say you got the CD by preordering from the label and that you'd like to now review it.

Ah, hah.  What a good way to open page 4 -- with decadence!

To an "Open All Seams" dance...ooohhh, sounds decadent!

And the first I'll do when I get it:

I will while away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head, I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a BRAIN FROM PLANET X

And if you had a Brain From Planet X, Scarecrow, what would you do with it?  Hmmmm?

....Why, buy 10 more, and tell your friends to buy 10, and tell their friends to buy 10, and so on, and so on until everyone has a Brain ... and is playing it on their CD players...

My brain should arrive today.

Sounds like a lot of folks are missing their Brains today....

Not to taunt those of you witih missing Brains.... but I've got mine!!  (acutally two!) and one is what is in my CD player -- I'm doing The Brain Tap as I type this (which has some logistical issues, but it can be done)  -- so that asnswers today's question...
and in my DVD player -- The Brain From Planet X as soon as it becomes available... (which would also make a lovely Chirstmas , birthday, or just because gift for your friends and families....)..

Media report -

CD(car):  audiobook, Everyone Worth Knowing by Lauren The Devil Wears Prada Weisberger.  Yeah, yeah, this one has taken me a long time to get through.  Being snowed in 1 day last week and 2 days this week meant that I haven't spent as much time driving as usual.  I should finish it on my way home tonight.  Next up:  Minette Walters' The Ice House, read by Simon Prebble.

DVD:  John & Abigail Adams: American Experience, Mozart's Requium from Sarajevo, Amadeus

I do wish everyone would do what Miss Karen is suggesting - which is to tell your friends about The Brain and send them to kritzerland or amazon or cdbaby.

Today I have zero tolerance for the bottom-feeders who hang around the library.  Must be time for a 3-day weekend.

I want to send a special  GOOD MORNING -- GOOD VIBES -- GOOD HUGS   wish to dear Larry.  Elmo, I have been thinking of you there for the past few days, and was glad to read here that you Dad has passed away and isn't in discomfort and pain any longer.  I hope the rest of everything can ptogress along smoothly, and that you can try to ignore the  unpleasant members of your family.

I've been watching the weather in the Ohio area, and you have to have frozen your poor little goyisch tuchus off by now!!  Keep warm friend.

Brains.... but I've got mine!!  (actually two!)

And yes, to answer that age-old question, two Brains are better than one -- and 10 more would be even better -- now I'm danciing to The Plan...

Good Afternoon!

Three invoices completed.  Three invoices sent out.  And now to fax a Talent Agreement.

-I guess that could be considered productive. ;)

Blame it on The Brain that I'm all hyped.  My mind's been bent to the dedadent side.  (Oh, and have I mentioned, that guy playing Zubrick is most awesomely awesome?!)  "Wowey!  Needs more Zubrick" (in my best Christopher Walken impression)...

Good morning!!

TOD -

CD - Act Two of Miss Saigon - soundboard recording from the production we did in September.

iPod - various Cast Recordings that i "bought" off my shelf - titles like Golden Boy, First Lady Suite and my latest craze (again) The Musical of Musicals - The Musical

DVD - nothing
DVR - "House", "Grey's Anatomy", "Ugly Betty", "Days of Our Lives" and "American Idol"

Off to get ready for this years birthday cake bake off - last year I made Martha's Deepest Darkest Crepe cake, this year it's going to be a Tres Leches Cake.  Seemed easy for the little time I've got to do this thing this year!!!

With all this decadence, I may need to update my review before I post it on Amazon:

"The music, lyrics and orchestrations are perky, fun, lively, entertaining, and wacky-wild sexy.  The Brain From Planet X will make your toes tap, your fingers snap, and your trousers vibe. It's a zany, decadent musical romp that will open all seams at warp speed."

YUM!

-Although, I've actually some bakeries here in NYC carrying "Cuatro Leches Cakes".   As for what that fourth type of milk could be.. ???  -Heck, I've even been "suspicious" of the three types of milk in the original.  ;)
