Marvelous Matt just left. I treated him to a listen of THE BRAIN (mandatory at my house). Guest room door, just restored, now has a new old rimlock with white porcelain doorknob (courtesy of eBay), is painted and looks lovely. (Don't touch, though--it's still wet!)

My predictions for Oscar night, albeit a bit late, are that I'll see some of the worst-looking gowns I've ever seen, but that one or two women will be dressed rather nicely.

As this will be my first ever HHW Oscar partay, I must DRESS for the occasion. Let's see. I think I shall be besequined and bejewelled. Yes, dahling, my jewels, please, my jewels.

Maybe CILLALIZ or DAKOTA CELT can help me here. What does one do when the knee-high snow boots simply do not GO with the sequined gown?? Or maybe snappy-dresser MUSIC GUY can advise me. You see, I have the glam wardrobe and I have the snow wardrobe, but the two simply do not work together! Oh, dear!
