Montage was sung in the film itself by the Love Generation and it must have had airplay back then.  I don't know why it's a different group on the soundtrack album, unless the info I found is incorrect.  It was covered by a Brit group called The Nocturnes.

And dear BK....... if you had accepted my proposal I got to thinking how complicated it would be.  I'd have to go take instruction and convert....you would have to take a course in the writings of Earnest Holmes... there would have to be 2 pre-nups....and then all of that fighting and bickering over "who gets to be the boy!"

You could always hire someone.

So, do you think Meryl Streep really is a Size 14? (to match her 14 nominations).

Alas... Some scattered flurries and drizzle this afternoon... And it's already 42 degrees outside.  Buh-bye, pretty snow.

Although, I believe my roommate who was dealing with a flight from Boston yesterday finally made it back to the apartment a little after 2:00am last night.

Howdy, all!

My sister's Oscar Night dinner was a boneless leg of lamb with asparagus, many fine cheeses, and lovely red wines, with fresh berries for dessert. I loved the show - thought Ellen D was so great... loved Pilobolus!! And the dresses and tuxes were classic and beeyooteefull. Huzzah for Martin Scorsese! And Alan Arkin!!! I had only seen a couple of the nominated films this past year... now I have wads of DVD's to rent, in between my readin' and writin' assignments. Whatta good show!

A very good morning to the assembled DRs and H/Ks here this morning.  I thought sure that dear BK would sleep in late today.  I had the same thought for DR Jose.....although, when you are still "younger than springtime" it is easier to bounce back.

Dakota-
Cal State East Bay is less then a mile from my Aunt and Uncle in the hills of Hayward, Cal. It only recently became "East Bay" as they changed the name for some stupid reason from Cal-State Hayward. It is a pretty small campus. One tall building on the hill you can see for miles around.  The school only dates back to the  '60s.

I have this soundtrack LP....I remember seeing the film. It was not the typical choice for a soundtrack purchase for me, but the Jimmy Webb stuff was irresistible.

And the airport officials don't suspect a thing with him her approaching all the passengers and dealing?  What?  Coke?  Grass? Meth?

TOD:
Well now, I'm biased. Of course I think of Bluth Bros as the best non-professional shows. I've seen other good ones (and been in others), but I can't recall any that were better than Bluth.  Maybe it's just my bias.

I missed the porn name discussion yesterday.  Mine is Casey Jackson, which is the name of an actual porn star.

Boy!  You can tell when it's the day AFTER an awards show.

Things move slowly.

Last night, we were starting new pages every five minutes or less.
