Well, I guess it would be ideal for me to be well-rested for my first day of rehearsal tomorrow/today... So...

Goodnight.

I've finished watching motion pictures for the evening.  I'm quite tired, and shall now sit in front of my computer like so much fish.  I'll reread what I wrote today and smooth out what needs smoothing out.

...a hairdresser I went to on an LA visit gave me a cut that was soooo far from what I asked for and wanted. I made the mistake of mentioning I was in town for a visit, thus giving her no incentive for repeat business.

Her?? What is it about decent hairdressing you do not understand?

.... UGH!  I'm guessing NBC wants to bring out the more soap opera like elements of the process in order to gain and keep more viewers.  Sad, sad, sad.

Indeed! We want a Sandy and Danny we can like - not some alleycat ruffians. I bet Ians knows that.

Well, one of the kids who did a visual art piece had given an "inspiring" quote, that - thanks to the mindset you all put me in - I knew I had to come back and share.  So here goes:

"Art touches people in ways that words can't and my goal in life is to touch as many people as possible."

I had to stifle my laughter when I first noticed that right in the middle of one of the first place kid's performance... :D

The ability to find a good chortle in the Staten Island Phone Directory is a precious talent - enjoy it!

He said they really need to have someone in immigration that they can refer people to (we get a lot of questions that as public defenders we can't answer) so he offered to send them to me.  I thought that was pretty darn cool

That's great news! :D

Been shuttling around between San Jose, Morgan Hill, Hayward, and currently Berkeley, Cal. The women's tournament is done. Hanging out with the sister.
