cant think of it right now but there were a number of books in the 80s that had artwork and pictures taht were hypnotic

One time I was watching a program on of some professor prattling on about some physics concept and I was so bored I was completely out of it... Still have no clue what he was going on about about.

They panned the room and half the class was asleep

It was an early experiment in distance education
