THE MIDNIGHT HOUR

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both high and low, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - it is, after all, the moo-dnight hour.

At work, we can't listen to MP3s and RealAudio streaming audio, so I couldn't listen to the clips for "The Creature Wasn't Nice."  Now that I'm home (and have been for a few hours...and I've remembered), I can. :)

On my DVR:  shows to watch:  "Ugly Betty" is the only one that I can think of right now. ::) I also have a few things set to record.

And now, I must take out my contact lenses, brush my teeth and go to bed.  Have a good evening, Tom!

Good morning to myself.

No one here but us chickens.

I'm not listening to anything right now. I am about to go and do the obvious at 7:20am on Friday, March 23, 2007.

We will watch As Time Goes By this evening, now that Channel 21 (one of our local PBS outlets) has ended their fundraising and gone back to regular programming.

We are supposed to go out to New Jersey tomorrow for a "Cousins" get together. The Morelli clan cousins are very close and have spontaneous gatherings frequently. I'm a cousin-in-law so I'm allowed to be part of the party.

We saw Johnny Guitar last night. While the pre-show was a bit disorganized, watching the movie was a hoot. I had never seen it before. I saw the Off-Broadway musicalization (a mix of camp and musical and great fun) but never the film. Miss Crawford was in top form as ingenue Vienna (even though by that time she was around 49-50 years old) but she was beat in the overacting game by Miss Mercedes McCambridge. Between the two of them the scenery was in splinters. The print, a 35mm, was in decent shape also.

Alas, I must move on to the kitchen. I will return (a Douglas MacArthur reference).

P.S. Anthony's Drowsy Chaperone audition is this afternoon. Vibes would be appreciate. Thank you all.
