Interesting how the message boards are so focused on the Danny/Doody thing, and not much talk about Sandy.  Maybe it's a matter of demographics.

Not sure what I'm going to eat tonight. All I've had today are a couple biscuits and some asparagus.

No, but there is a recipe for stuffed hamburgers in the book I made that calls for condensed milk that you mix in with the ground beef

condensed milk = partally evaportaed milk with sugar added!

"Asparagus" can be sung to the tune of "Ed Sullivan" from BYE BYE BIRDIE.

DR ELMORE - did they ever release a souvenir booklet for THE FANTASTICKS?  And did you ever get a chance to pick up Playbill?

Lord, Mister, you don't have ANYTHING else to do!!!

No Souvenir booklet, to my knowledge, but I can send you a Playbill.

What's an LP?

It stands for "Long Play"; I'm surprised the initials don't follow your name, like Ph.D!

I have finished stripping the wallpaper in the bathroom..what a nightmare. I still have to scrub the walls, do a little patching and possibly some sanding before I paint, but having this step done is fabulous.  And I raked out all the flower beds. Lots of leaves and sticks. 2 Big garbage cans full for curbside pick-up.

That was a REAL upper body workout and boy can I feel it

He will certainly leave me that way.

Well off to start sorting clothes. If I get this job done, it will be a VERY productive weekend.

The tour of EDWARD SCISSORHANDS came through here a month or two ago, and while I didn't see it , every one of my friends who did see it said the same thing: dull as dishwater.

DR Jose ~ You're the audition expert.  Our only experience is with civic and school theatres, so I was wondering do the professional theatres give you a courtesy call to say you haven't made it, or after a while if you haven't heard anything you can figure you're out of the running.

I wonder if the Hogwart's Sorting Hat would work on clothes?

I haven't had time (and won't right now either) to read all the postings, so have we heard if DP Sherlock of the Giant Paws made it home -- and how he (and his parents) are doing?  Lots of healing vibes to DP Sherlock!

I started my afternoon with WHAT A WAY TO GO! I was a little worried about the transfer when it started, but I had forgotten about all that deliberate pink (I thought the color might have faded to pink).

Goes on too long for such a simple idea, but oh, boy, what a fashion parade for Shirley MacLaine! No wonder Edith Head got Oscar nominated for this film! One outrageous outfit after another for Shirley.

I'll just see you there, Jose.  Gotta head out now.  I don't mind the seats being empty.  You can just spread out.
