STURM UND DRANG
« on: March 29, 2007, 01:28:56 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a little sturm and a little drang, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're doing the hokey pokey right now.

Well, I'd say yesterday is one for the record books - I'll go see how high we got.

"Tenzin" one of two-month-old Red Panda cub twins, makes his debut at Taronga Zoo March 28, 2007 in Sydney, Australia. The rare cub twins, born in January, have just begun to emerge from their nestbox. The Red Panda cubs are a result of the international breeding program for the endangered species, with Taronga Zoo producing 43 cubs since 1977. By Alan Waldie/Getty.

Okay, late last night (actually, just a few minutes ago), I got a diet Pepsi out of my sister's fridge in her garage and the expiration date on the bottom of the can is "Jan 22 07."  I thought that that might not be too long ago in terms of soda expiration dates, but NO...it's bad.  It tastes "dusty" and I'm not finishing it. :P

Just had to share. :)

DP Colin's Step-mum is a sponsor of one of Melbourne Zoo's Red Pandas.  (It was her birthday gift from us last year).

We also gave a sponsorship of a Rothschild's Giraffe to our friend Peter who marries Shirley Rothschild. We figured he would cope with the responsibility.

diet pop can go stale a lot faster than regular soad due to the artifical sweetener in it.

Topic of the Day:

What's the best thing that I've ever won?  About 10 years ago or so, I bought a Zero candy bar at my work they were having a prize give-a-way.  I opened the wrapper and saw that I won a portable CD player (I think the value at that time was about $150)!  I actually already had one that I bought, so I gave the CD player that I just won to my dad.  He loved it...and he still has it!  It's still working. :D

Life is mostly froth and bubble DR George.
Thanks for sharing your bubbles.

Not really a Michael Bublé reference.

I'd stick to coca-cola.

I now have over 50 versions of coca-cola jingles on CD. I have no pepsi ones.
(I can not remember a single pepsi advertisement).

Okay, I got the notes pulled up and read...

TOD:  hmmmm, I haven't won many "things" -- a cake at a cake walk when I was little... but I'm very lucky when it comes to people..

won my husband's heart...
... won things with groups of other people helping -- like band contests, etc.
