Oh, yes, I see the likeness. Since I had only your current avatar to go on and didn't know any of the others, well, I just assumed. I do know you're a Matt Ashford fan. Keep drawing!

The Jolly Holiday number from the Broadway version of Poppins! Was modified from the London version! The whole number! It's gorgeous!

Der Brucer bought a new DVD player today.

It did not come with a remote.

He was sold, instead, a universal remote.

He's been trying to figure out how to universally remote for the last fifteen minutes.

THAT"S why my TV station keeps changing!! And quit opening  my garage door!!!!!

If it's Déjà Vu, why do you bother watching it! Déjà Vu? Are we really sure of this?!

Yes, we're sure. I watched it twice actually.

Still on page 6?

That's surprising next to horrible!

Not so surprising, and besides, we're on another page now.

Hi DR VIXMOM....be careful saying Kissimmee around here!

Shouldn't there be a Kissimmee in American Samoa?  Then they could bill it as:

Kissimmee AS(S)

I finshed all of the special features on the DEJA VU DVD. Neither the deleted scenes nor the extended scenes were vital to the film, and since it veered on being too long as it was, it was very wise to cut those unnecessary moments.

I'm up, I'm up - my allergies have caused me to be puffy and groggy, not necessarily in that order, and I'm not sure these newfangled Actifed's are even working without their key ingredient.

The drug you are looking for is pseudoephedrine. Tho not illegal, curtnt laws usual require it be dispensed in a controlled environment - "behind the counter" - you have to ask for it!

Quote
Brand names
Contac® (pseudoephedrine) - Has been discontinued as of 2007

Sudafed® (pseudoephedrine) - has an alternate phenylephrine HCl version, Sudafed® PE

Actifed® (triprolidine/pseudoephedrine) - will no longer contain pseudoephedrine by the end of 2006

Claritin-D® (loratadine/pseudoephedrine)
Clarinex-D® (desloratadine/pseudoephedrine)
Sinutab® (guaifenesin/pseudoephedrine)
Benylin® (pseudoephedrine)
Zyrtec-D® (certirizine/pseudoephedrine)
Allegra-D® (fexofenadine/pseudoephedrine)
Drixoral® (dexbrompheniramine/pseudoephedrine)
Mucinex-D® (guaifenesin/pseudoephedrine)

PediaCare® (pseudoephedrine/chlorpheniramine/dextromethorphan)
Pannaz® pseudoephedrine/chlorpheniramine/methscopolamine)

Fludrex® (pseudoephedrine/dextromethorphan/triprolidine)
Solpa-Sinus® (pseudoephedrine/acetaminophen)

Tylenol-Sinus® (Phenylephrine/acetaminophen) - Many cold remedies like Tylenol Sinus no longer use pseudoephedrine due to its new legal status.

Next, I watched UNITED 93. I was able to get through this fantastic movie, but the opening half hour to forty minutes recounts the reactions as air traffic personnel saw the Trade Center Towers being hit, and now even after so many years, that footage and those reactions are devastating. The rest of the movie had to do with the other two hijacked plane, the hapless US Military who were powerless to do anything without Presidental authorization, and, finally, the passengers rallying their strength and overtaking the four hijackers. Very emotionally involving and really superb.

More famous faces in it than I was expecting: Christian Clemenson, Gregg Henry, Cheyenne Jackson, David Bakshe, Peter Hermann.

I watched the fifth ANDY BARKER, P.I. episode. Nestor Carbonell guest starred as a doctor scamming money. There was also a funny running gag with Andy's child wanting her stuffed elephant which had gotten misplaced.

Ended the evening watching the last ANDY BARKER, P.I. episode. This guest starred Ed Asner as Harve Presnell's ex-partner who had killed someone and framed an ex-girl friend for the job. OK end to the series, but despite its sweetness, just never was funny enough.

We're currently having another of those drenching rainstorms just like we had a few nights ago. Sounds like a flood is happening outside.
