Well, you've read the notes, the notes were filled with both baloney and bologna, and now it is time for you to post until the the cows come home - they're eating bologna sandwiches right now, then they'll vomit on the ground, then they'll come home.

Good morning, all!  And a special one to the delightful Tomovoz.

I had a very unsettling dream about losing my wallet in a taxi going from the Church of the Ascension in Middletown, OH, to meet friends for lunch in Manhatttan before I had an audition for A CHORUS LINE!  There are so many aburdities in this brief precis I can't believe how unsettling the dream actually was.

I'm off to Toyland this morning, but before I go, I need to order a score from England and assemble an order for the Johann Strauss Critical Editions from Vienna.  Oy!

DR Singdaw, it's great to finally put a face to the posts.  I must say, they were not at all what I had imagined from your posts.  Now we have to get you into Manhattan for a meetin of the NY coven.  Perhaps in June, when DRs MusicGuy and MBarnum(shudder!) come to the City.

Six Feet Under - great theme.  Echoes of it in "Deadwood" - I've not checked the composer.

I also like the "Upstairs Downstairs" theme Larry and "The Dutchess of Duke Street".

Any particular role in "A Chorus Line" - surely not Shiela.

I just has an email from Tarzan.  (or possibly Cheetah who has just celebrated his birthday) - something about Ben in a whale. (It's late I could be wrong)

We are back from Long Island. We had a nice, relaxing weekend. Saturday was beautiful, even though it was a bit cool. Yesterday, though was another story. Walking back to the apartment from the subway we got wet. It was one of those rains where an umbrella doesn't help. Luckily I have a water resistant Lands End coat. It's still damp here but by Friday things should dry out.

Good mornin', HHW!

Getting to work this morning was an experience.  The Merritt was closed.  Trying to get to I-95 on the back roads was difficult, as well.  But I made it!

Glad to see that DRs DearReaderLaura and JoseSPiano got home safely last night.

Weather Girl Day!!!

Kay Field used to be the Weather Girl on Channel 8 WISH-TV.  She was the only female on the news team and was quite a novelty.  I think she appeared on What's My Line looking very beautiful and stumped the panel.

Yes, indeed!  In addition to being a technical wiz and foodie extraordinaire, DR JoseSPiano is a gentleman and a scholar.

Thanks to him for making it happen, and thanks to all for your gracious comments!
