Well, you've read the notes, you've hummed the notes, and now it is time for the dum dum dum dum cows to come home.

In honor of TARANTISM, let's do the Lambada (The Forbidden Dance) and the Mashed Potato and the Swim, baby.

I'm telling you - I'm suffering from an extreme case of tarantism right now.  It's getting the best of me.  It always gets the best of me but the best of me rarely gets it.  Funny that.

I'm doing the Hokey Pokey right now.  I put my left foot in and took my left foot out and then I shook it all about.

I'm doing a square dance right now.  Do-si-do, baby.  Now I'm doing a rectangular dance.  I'm a dancing fool!

Friday morning greetings!  What am I doing up at this hour in beautiful Tiffin, Ohio?  Conference excitement, I guess.  Not really nervous, just ready to do this thing (and have it over with!)

Some travel vibes for my DS Rob would be appreciated - he's driving, with a couple of other UC students, to Wisconsin for a conference.

DR Jose - thanks for the link to the sacred harp article.  I've emailed it to DH Richard, just in case he missed it.

Dum Dum - Brenda Lee

I remember enjoying St George and Dragonet way back when.

After all that talk yesterday about 110 in the Shade (OBC) I have the CD here at the office. I also brought She Loves Me (OBC), Happy End (original cast from San Francisco's ACT Theatre - thanks again Larry) and Salad Days.

Bretty, if you are looking for somewhat obscure musicals I highly recommend Salad Days by Julian Slade. Here is a brief description. If you Google it you can find many hits for the show. Our own Rodzinski directed a production here in NY a few years ago.

Salad Days

We have friends visiting this weekend but we are not seeing them tonight so we will partake of our usual comfort television. We will watch As Time Goes By from 9-10 and the third episode of The Vicar of Dibley at 10pm. We also need to watch Rosemary and Thyme which was taped on Tuesday when Anthony was at dance class.

I must defrost the freezer tomorrow and we must go shopping on Sunday morning.

And now I'm here by myself so I am off to the kitchen. You know what happens there.

Later, gaters.

Tarantism - I think that is a movie with Mara Corday.   Pretty scary, too.  She wears pajamas instead of a nightgown when the giant tarantism attacks her house.

Just the fax, ma'am.

Work day...  :(

My loan request has been approved, even though I never applied for a loand AND I won the British lottery, even though I never entered it.

I am so glad we have email or I might have missed these opportunities!

I thought Tarantism was loving to read pulp fiction.
