"Daddy Cool" indeed.

Boney M's recordings are very collectable! (and still fun).

Same scam here in France (Belgium) where a singer was "singing" with someone else's voice! Now, he sings with his own and... I can't tell the difference! Ah!

I think Liz Mitchell is the only original member now.

Good Evening!

Back from Westport.  Back from the show.

Good show.  Good audience.

And tomorrow we have two shows.  One at 4:00.  Then one at 8:00.  So, in the span of six and a half hours we will be presenting two performances of All About Us.  -I just wanna know who came up with that schedule?  We only get an hour and a half off between shows.  However, the upside is that because the break is less than two hours, the theatre is required to provide the between-show meal. :)

But still... 4:00?  And then 8:00?

Perhaps Boney M can survive as long as touring groups the " Platters" and the "Drifters".

As for DR Ben's widescreen... Well, I thought it was related to DR Ben's oatmeal pics... Well, actually, those were DR singdaw's oatmeal bowl pics... Which DR Cillaliz quoted in her post... Then edited out later... I think...  Well.... OK....

Blame me.

Today we went to the arboretum. Then we went to Organ Stop, which MusicGuy knows well. They have a theater organ that has lots of instruments that the organist plays from the organ. Tonight's organist played DR Sandra's request (Singin' in the Rain) but did not play mine (Besame Mucho).

DR François - There actually is a musical based on the "Little House On the Prairie" series of books that's currently in development.  There was a staging of it last summer at New York Stage & Film directed by Francesca Zambello.  The music is by Rachel Portman (of Chocolat fame), the book is by Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart), and the lyrics are by Donna DiNovelli.

They actually had a private reading here in NYC earlier this week.  Melissa Gilbert and Patrick Swayze were slated to play Ma and Pa.

DR Cillaliz - Thrill Me seems to be having quite a life right on the regional theatre circuit.  I know of at least four other recent productions that friends of mine have been involved in.

DR elmore - I'll be sure to say HI to Tazewell if he's around this weekend.

OH... And as for next week...

I keep forgetting that I have a 10:30am school matinee on Tuesday, so I'll already be up there.  So, I'll leave it up to you and DR FJL if you want to come up early to sup up there, or if you just want to come in closer to showtime.  We'll talk.
