OOHH!!!

Just a "friendly reminder"...  Sanjaya is on Letterman tonight.  He's doing the Top 10 List tonight: The Top 10 Things I Learned from "American Idol".

*And for anyone who doesn't want to stay up - or may have missed it - the video is already on CBS's website.

CBS Sunday Morning has a nice piece on Joel Grey and his photography. I really liked what I saw!

The B-roll showed Joel Grey wandering around Venice, CA, snapping photos. He was in that area where there are canals. Every time I see that in a movie or TV show, I think "I have to find out where that is!" And then when I'm in LA, I forget to try and find it. It looks so lovely!

Tonight I watched a very interesting doc called The Promise of Iowa http://www.iptv.org/promise/ It's about the refugees Iowa took in from southeast Asia after the Vietnam War.  Funny, I didn't realize what we did was unique. I also didn't know we are the only state that to this day still has a refugee resettlement office.

One of the validictorians of my high school class in 1979 was a refugee from Vietnam.

It's time for me to leave work.  I got all my hours in.  Now, I'll go home and wait for "Heroes" to finish, so I can watch it from the DVR...it started 15 minutes ago.  Until later!

Caught up again.

Thanks, Jose, for putting in that aisle seat request, and for giving up a night with Van Driver.

Jose - Dear friend Julie (whom you met at Edward Scissorhands) will also be seeing the show at Westport tomorrow night, though she won't join us for dinner since she's going to the Easter Bonnet show in NYC which ends about 4:30-5 or so.  (I just went ahead and got her a regular ticket through the regular box office.)

And, remember, the show runs about 2 hours and 14 minutes.  With NO intermission.  So, monitor your pre-show liquid consumption accordingly.

OH!

While walking from the subway this morning over to Equity, I walked by the St. James where they were already loading out the sets and props from The Producers.  For a show that came out with such a BANG, it sure went out with a whimper.

Jose - Did the no-intermission decision have anything to do with the Westport back-to-NYC train schedule?

Umm... I believe I'd be complimenting his biceps among other parts of his physiognomy.

And also a judge in a recurring role on LAW & ORDER: SVU.

I did get the front yard mowed! Hooray! Now, keep the rain away for a week so the grass won't grow much.
