And I did (wash the bowl, that is) and now I must leave to find grants to include in my PowerPoint presentation for next Wednesday. The topic is "Using the Foundation Center's NTEE Taxonomy in Your Daily Work"

TomofOz, is that enough to put you to sleep???

News item:

Anthony Perone, 20, pleaded guilty in March in Connecticut in connection with two stalking letters he admitted mailing to a woman he had fallen for in the third grade but who apparently had spurned him. The rambling, incoherent letters explicitly threatened death, and Perone had intended to send them anonymously, in that he wrote no return address on the envelopes. However, he lived with his mother and had given each envelope to her to mail, and, unknown to him, she had thoughtfully added his name and address before posting them.

Ah...THIS clears it up:

Taxonomies, which are composed of taxonomic units known as taxa (singular taxon), are frequently hierarchical in structure.

For those, like me, who are entirely CLEWless about film, here is a guide to some of the formats:  film formats.

Since I am CLEWless, I have no idea if the information here is accurate or comprehensive.  In which case, perhaps some DR can re-direct us to a better source.

TOD:

I can't recall what widescreen movies I might have seen but I know I saw POLYESTER in Odorama.

Widescreen didn't mean much to me since most movies I saw were at the drive in....

However I do remember FORBIDDEN PLANET soon after the Center-Brook had edges added to its screen....which was very strange!

OMG, you've been lurking on the 3rd Floor of the Foundation Center!

Yes, we use a hierarchical alpha-numeric coding structure to attach subject codes to grants making it easier for grantseekers to see which foundations might be interested in funding their projects.

OK, maybe his JAZZ HANDS execution lacks a little energy, but the death penalty seems a little extreme...

Additional thumbs up to DR LAURA.

Are the bilingual suspenders anything like the Himalayan Suspenders Treatment that Bob Cummings taught to Eric Von Zipper?

Laura - there was red velvet cake from Daisy Mae, but it wasn't pretty enough to photograph.  The frosting was yummy, though.

Aromarama.

Which of course, spelled backwards, is Amaramora!
