Well, you've read the notes, the notes hurried along, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're learning how to do the Lambada (The Forbidden Dance).

Slapstick. I loved the Lewis/Martin films  -Scared Stiff" is my favourite.  I also loved the "Road" films.
"Whats' Up Doc" works for me and the slapstick moment in the Airplane movies as well.  Mel Brooks use of Slapstick is usually good too (even if most of the films don't quite "get there".

TOD:

Why is it so hard to make a great slapstick film that doesn't falter at some point?

I, too, enjoy Babs in What's Up, Doc?

I enjoyed "Those Magnificent men.... " and " Mad Mad World" too.

Of more recent  attempts  "RatRace" worked but "Mouse Hunt" did not.

Sorry to leave you alone, DR Tomovoz, but I should get another hour or two of sleep myself, before heading over to my Mom's to help with day #2 of Ye Grande Olde Tag Sale.

The early birds will be out in force today, it being Saturday and all.

Great links posted last night for the show of DR RODZINSKI and DR TPUNK....was that from DR GINNY?

Anyway, I must say that photograph does not do justice to the beauty of DR TPUNK....although some of the others are much better!

I watched a movie on TV last night titled THE LAST DAYS OF DISCO.  There were some very nice performances by young people whose names I have heard but hadn't really connected with faces....

Chloe Sevigney was the best of the lot....Matt Keeslar was also very good.  Kate Beckinsale was good as was MacKenzie Astin.

I then went to Amazon and bought the soundtrack because it has a lot of DISCO DANCE MUSIC!
