Good Evening!

Back from the reading.  I enjoyed it.  "The Legend of Stagecoach Mary" is in very good shape.  Today's presentations were in association with NYMF, and the show will be fully-staged this fall during the festival.

It was nice seeing a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while, and some people I just saw this past week.  All in all, a very enjoyable evening.

-And I'm wondering where DR elmore is?  He went to the 3:00 presentation.  Hmm...

The composer asked me to send me some of my thoughts, so that's why I'm really posting any details here.  I started processing my thoughts on the train ride back uptown - the long train ride back uptown.  Apparently, there was an "earlier incident" on both the A and the D in both Brooklyn and the Bronx.  Consequently, the trains were running a bit behind schedule.

Premature.  I'm just piecing various clues together right now.  The most recent "clue" has to do with me being asked to play for some of the final callbacks.  So... We'll see.

So... Back to Wonder Bread for a bit...

Did any other DRs after toasting a slice of Wonder Bread, and then buttering it, ever peel off that top layer of toasty-buttery goodness?  And then re-toasted and re-buttered the remaining bread?

I watched that BBC movie on BEAU BRUMMELL. I haven't seen anything on BBC-America in quite a while - they have commercials every 10 minutes WITHOUT FAIL. Of course, with the DVR, it's easy to fly through them, but still! Matthew Rhys was wasted as Lord Byron. The chemistry between Rhys and Purefoy was palpable, and much could have been made of that! Instead, we were (once again) forced to use our imaginations.

Still, if it's even close to the truth about those individuals and the Prince of Wales et al, it was a very intriguing moment in history.

RENO 911 had a couple of chuckles as Dangle went to the anniversary party of his ex-wife and her second husband (who, ahem, seemed to have a lot in common with Dangle). Would like to see more with that!

SCRUBS had some typical fantasies as each main character imagined what it would be like being with Elliott on the eve of her engagement. Slightly amusing without being fall down funny.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER had some terrific laughs at Marshall and Lily's disastrous wedding. Still, it ended very sweetly and sentimentally, quite a lovely episode.

OLD CHRISTINE dragged out the pregnancy scare plot, and it was only mediocre in execution. Blair Underwood again guest starred as Richie's teacher and Christine's potential love interest (if the show gets another season).

'24' was a snooze fest for the first 43 minutes, but then things kicked into high gear as CTU got invaded. From then to the end of the episode, it was breathless excitement, and the last two hours of the day promise to be equally exciting now that we have this very strong set-up from tonight's episode.

HEROES was once again as fabulous as it's expected to be. How great to see Ellen Greene as Sylar's mother, and we see within a few minutes one reason he got launched on such a destructive path. Some superb moments of action and surprise. I love this show!

I've been battling a very annoying, very persistent, and very painful neck/head condition all day today.  I got to my chiro around 10:00 this morning, and I'm hoping that it finally relaxes out while I sleep tonight.  My head/ neck connection,... not my chiro.

Yuck..... kinda takes some of the fun out of a pretty day.  But I did have a nice little break in the middle of the day, when I found a couple of surprises for a friend of mine, while I was doing some shopping.
