It's common name is "Shady Lady".

I can't think of anything more appropriate for you and Colin to have in your garden!!   :o

 ;)

[the shot is beautiful, by the way!]

Open Waratahs.

I posted these a year or so ago DR StringDawn. Once again from our (Colin's) garden. We "trade" them for fruit and vegetables for a month or so each year.

That's a nice looking plant.

I lost my Michael Crawford Rose.  The winter was just to cold for it even though I covered it during the freezes we had.

A Michael Crawford Rose?  Is that a rose that can't sing?

(sorry, I couldn't resist)

Or a Michael Jackson Rose.  Looks like a rose, but is really a pansy?

(Hey, come on, it's early.)

That may have been a DR Jose influenced comment.

Her most recent [2006] farewell tour...the program where she returned to standards and some of her older material.  Wisely, I think.

I was going somewhere with that, but then decided discretion was a better option.

My, you people have been busy, haven't you?

We had a system problem this morning so I was unable to log in until just now. I caught up from last night and since it's now 8:46am I must to work.

Later, gaters.
