Der Brucer is now complaining because I forgot to buy a copy of the local paper (a biweekly) today.

I suppose we could go back to the store.  They should have next week's work schedule posted by now.

Tales of Tinseltown.

We will look forward to a full report.

I did the original showcase of "Tales of Tinseltown" in 1985, and then I did its third production around 1990 in San Diego.  At that point I stopped believing in it.

I wish them well, however.  They're good people.

TRAVELER got really anemic ratings last night, by far the lowest of any show premiering after a new episode of GREY'S ANATOMY.

I got a glimpse of ABC's proposed new schedule for next season. Nothing written in stone yet, but I was happy to see that UGLY BETTY is staying put on Thursday night.

OCTOBER ROAD moves into the LOST timeslot - Wednesday at 10.

The GREY's spinoff, now called PRIVATE PRACTICE, will be Wednesday at 9.

MEN IN TREES right now is penciled in for Friday night (back where it came from).

When LOST returns in January 2008, it'll be on Tuesday night.

I shall now be on my way to sup, after which I shall attend an opening night, after which I shall return.

Let us hope we have a frenzy or nine in the intervening hours.

The Intervening Hours - that's the title of my next novel, which will be turned into a film by Douglas Sirk starring Dorothy Malone, Jane Wyman, Rock Hudson, and Robert Stack.

DR edisaurus, I just finally watched my Internationale DVD!  I don't know much about editing, but loved the documentary.  It sure looked and flowed well!  Where did you and Peter find Vladimir Zak?  He's great! And the Tiananmen Square footage was especially moving.

Also noted with interest the S&V trailer.  Can't wait!

Yes and no. Lowes does not do bathtub surrounds. We found this out after waiting five days for him to come.

Home Depot insists on tearing out the drywall I just installed, which would make the price outrageous.

When DH Richard was in Wisconsin in November, his mother ended up in the hospital.

When DH Richard was in Wisconsin in February, we had a snow/ice/snow storm that I had to contend with.

DH Richard is in Wisconsin this week and his older brother has ended up in a different hospital.  They're not sure what's wrong, but it probably has something to do with the fact that he stopped taking his blood pressure medication and hasn't been monitoring his diabetes as he should.

Next time DH Richard is due to spend a week in Wisconsin, I'm going with him.

Oh, and I'm real glad it's Friday.

Hello!  Well I FINALLY decided to move the hostas from near the trees that will be cut down in the next couple weeks and put them on the west side of the house where I tore out some bushes last year. OY!   I should have done that weeks ago. They were really big and really heavy. I know I could have broken them up, but they look so good in the big bunches they are in.   It was REALLY a pain, but it's done.   I do not have green thumbs.

I think I got a little dehydrated doing the big plant move.  It was in the 80s out, but I was really over heated.  I'm ok now, but it took a while to cool down

I read in this week's Entertainment Weekly that Rosie O'Donnell may be joining the cast of LES MISERABLES.  Has anyone else heard that rumor?  I am hoping that she would not be playing Jeanne Valjean.

I really have no idea.  I wasn't happy with the work I did in San Diego,  When it was done a couple of years later in Florida, they had to bring someone else in since i was tied up with Houston Grand Opera.

The only role she could remotely do is Mme Thenardier and I mean remotely!
