Thanks to DRs JRand, Cillaliz, Vixmom, and DearReaderLaura for the vibes for our DS Rob.  He's crashed on the couch, where I suspect he'll spend most of the week.  Since I have to work every day, most of the pampering will be left to dear ol' Dad.

DR Rodzinski, congratulation on your new digs. Hell's Kitchen is my stomping grounds when I stay in NY...there's lot of goodness interspersed with the touristy stuff!

I have no response to that.  :P

I'm still pondering about Jose handling some young "Danny-Want-a-be" 's package.

Was tonight the last Heros of the season or is there one more?

Yes, as others have said, one more episode for this season.

So...

Any thoughts on the Tony Nominations that will be announced tomorrow morning? With the way that some of the other awards have been doled out, it seems that LoveMusik may end up being a spoiler of sorts.

I'm sure LOVE/MUSIK will figure in the nominations, but I think the spoiler will be GREY GARDENS. Since it was eligible for all of the other prizes except the Tonys last year, the folks that would have been nominated got nominated last year in those other competitions. GREY GARDENS will get considered in lots of categories this year for the Tonys.

I'm off now to my first rehearsal for "Taming of the Shrew...in Hell!"  I saw Pug, the director, today and she said that I'll be used a lot during the opening section.  Hmmm...I wonder how. :)

Program note:

In this evening's performance the part of :
Stoker #1 of the Fires of Hell
will be played by George Dougherty

I began my evening of viewing with PRINCE OF FOXES and enjoyed it thorouoghly.

The transfer was very clean, but I thought it was a bit darker than necessary.

Before prime time started, I put in THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. Just had the urge to see it again, and it's such a fun movie.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER had a funny season finale. Poor Marshall not getting anything to eat at his wedding was funny. And the Robin-Ted story was very interesting and involving.

I think the show will get renewed for another season on CBS, but if it didn't, this would be a nice finale episode.

Anyway, we'll find out on Wednesday.

'24' had an amped up episode with lots of action and suspense. With only two hours left, the two primary targets are still in play. Don't know what's going to happen.

DR Ginny, best health wishes to DS Rob. My mom had mono when she was in college and it took a while to get over it. I'm sure he's glad he's back home now!

HEROES had another very involving hour, too, which I really enjoyed. Yes, more death (and I happened to see something in the previews for next week that was very upsetting. Won't mention any names but it looked like another certain death which will NOT make me happy.)

The deaths on the show tonight were in some cases sad but I didn't have huge emotional investments in those characters.

As to what the Tony muisical spoilers might be, this is a list of the eligible musicals, in no particular order.  :)

Spring Awakening
Grey Gardens
Mary Poppins
Curtains
Love Musik
Legally Blonde
High Fidelity
The Pirate Queen
The Times They Are A-Changin'
Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Spring Awakening and Grey Gardens are sure things for nominations in the Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score categories.  And they are the ONLY sure things for those categories.

My guess is that the only musical that could cause an upset for a potential win if nominated for Best Musical is Legally Blonde, but (whatever I may feel) Legally Blonde is a long shot for nomination in the book and score categories.

I'm guessing the four Best Musical nominees will be SPRING AWAKENING (which seems like the show to beat this year), GREY GARDENS, LOVE/MUSIK, and LEGALLY BLONDE.
