TCB, have you tried magnets? Before you think I'm some new age wacko, we started using these when DH had a bad case of tendonitis. Nothing helped...cortisone shots, etc. and he was desperate. He mentioned it to someone at our coffee shop, and a guy in line who was a Nikken distributor said "here, try this" and put an elbow wrap and magnet on Greg's elbow. It relieved his pain after a few minutes and he became a big believer in it. They make back belts that hold larger magnetic pads. This helped my mom so much that we decided to become "dealers", so we could buy their stuff at cost. We only buy for us and friends and family and DH has no interest in pursuing it as a business, but if you're interested in trying it, he could get you something at his cost.

Didn't even notice the nudity since Burton was so close.

Don't forget to get those Father's Day cards in the mail!  :)

I sent Craig a Father’s Day card from Yogi.  I couldn’t resist, the dog on the card looked very much like Yogi did as a puppy.

With all the crap going on in my life these days, it's always nice for something good to occur.  I'm featured once again by my publisher!

You can actually look at some pages of music.

That's nice :)

Has anyone ever seen the RB movie "Villain"? It was based on the Kray brothers...(or the Pirhana Brothers, for any Monty Python fans out there.) It's a very lurid and unplesant film, directed by the first director I ever worked for, Michael Tuchner. (Also kind of an unpleasant guy...)

The plus of working on that first film was that I got to work with G.W. Bailey, a.k.a. Lt Provenza.

He's going to be doing a radio shot here in Atlanta tomorrow morning, so we'll be tuning him in. I think Kyra will be doing some late night talk shows, too.

It's coming down to the wire!

False advertising, but thank you!

I actually wanted to post my favorite photo of myself---even younger, but with my ancient cat when he was young, too. But even though it was 12K, the site said it was too big. So I'll settle for my Marie Osmond look...

Edi, the picture can easily be reduced in size...even more easily than it was to cut your hair (which was not difficult, at all). :) If you want, just e-mail it to me and I can do it.

DR Elmore, besides arranging the orchestra parts in JUBILEE, did you also do the vocal arrangements?

You did know that Glynis John was a woman?

Well, her leading man in that movie was very, very good looking...don't remember his name, but I remember the face!

At 2PM it was a bright sunny spring afternoon, so I decided to take Fletcher for a walk - we could meet Woody have way home from work, and Fletcher needs the exercise.

Not to be persnickety but wouldn't that be HALF way home  from work

Thanks Jane and everyone for the good vibes.   I'm flying out of Sioux Falls in the morning for Orlando right when a thunderstorm is supposed to start rolling in, so I could use some travel vibes for tomorrow morning, we go to Denver first...in other words in the direction of the storm...and it's a commuter jet!

What? Didn't you know Denver is on the way from South Dakota to Florida? LOL, sort of like Dallas is on the way from Omaha to New York.  Hey, I live in the middle of the country, you can't get there from here!  ;)

I was hoping my new computer would do this properly,
without cutting and pasting the codes into the correct places.

It is so odd that the antiquated computer at the NIH managed it just fine.  Why I seem to be the only one having a problem with this is beyond me.

Cilla my  ??? and Denver comment referred to the fact you have to go through Denver.  I have had many a delay when traveling through Denver.  I think they have a regular See's candy store there, a plus for the airport, and some nice shops.

Denver, Chicago...it's always somewhere that can be a pain in the butt.   I just go with the flow. There is one session I'd like to go to Wednesday night, but if I miss that one it won't be the end of the world.

Good Evening!

It's raining.  It's not.  It's raining.  It's not.  And so on and so forth - for the next 24-36 hours so they say.
