Ah!  Leslie Jordan!  -Yep, he's truly one of those "so funny, you'll pee" kind of guys.

Good morning, all!  I slept late, and now I'm ready to face whatever fresh hell the day throws in my direction.

DR Jose, do you want to see THE SECOND TOSCA? The reviews make it sound like fun.

Today I'm off to NYPL at noon, and there's nothing planned beyond that,

Leslie Jordan is also on that new Kevin Williamson TV drama HIDDEN PALMS. I don't watch it, but the friend of mine who visited on Thursday was telling me about him and the show.

DR elmore - Well, the reviews I've read - and heard - make The Second Tosca sort of make me not want to see it.  However... When were you thinking of going?  I have ACL tonight and tomorrow, plus a few days next week, so my theatre-going window is bit "closed" right now.

Good morning, fellow Dear Readers. Don't let me forget that I have tickets to the tour of the Elvis musical, "All Shook Up," which is being advertised as the show that took Broadway by storm. I keep forgetting about it.

Saturday morning greetings!  I've taken a vacation day today to spend time with my out-of-town relatives who all arrived last night.  Only my niece is staying at our house, so she and I just had a nice big breakfast and she's off to Gram's (my mother) to visit with her parents (my sister and brother-in-law) and then take her dad to play golf.

DH Richard is at Miami University all day and evening, rehearsing then performing the Men's Glee Club 100th anniversary concert tonight.  When we found out that it would cost $30 for me to attend and that the concert would be in a TENT  :P, he recommended that I skip this one.

A co-worker asked me to ask you all if anyone knows of an instrumental (orchestra, string quartet, jazz combo) recording of the Noel Coward song, "Someday I'll Find You."

And now it's time for me to sleep...finally!  Yesterday was a long day.  Today will probably be long, too.  It's my mom's 65th birthday!  I need to go over to my sister's house early this morning (after I've actually slept, of course) to help her set up and do some last minute shopping.  Depending how long the party lasts, I may see another show in the evening, but I probably won't get the chance to.  We'll see.  Anyway, I'm off to bed! 8)

George, have you seen TAKE ME OUT?  I think it closes tomorrow.

DR TCB - Take Me Out is currently playing at Dayton's Human Race Theatre.  The same coworker who asked about the Noel Coward song saw the production Thursday evening and raved about it.

TOD - "Running around like a chicken with its head cut off" - my mother's favorite description of having too much to do and not enough time to do it.

Actually, I suppose that's a simile, not a metaphor, because of the word "like."

A co-worker asked me to ask you all if anyone knows of an instrumental (orchestra, string quartet, jazz combo) recording of the Noel Coward song, "Someday I'll Find You."

This was a ballet based on Coward's music, and one of the movements is "Someday I'll Find You."

The original Broadway production was wonderful; Dennis O'Hare gave one of the best performances I've ever seen.

Were you working up to playing SACCO?

Good day to one and all!!

I am at my parents on dog sitting detail... Washing clothes and I may even go for a walk if it is not raining....

We have had way too much rain up here and I would love to send some of it to Laura!

Since april we have had 13 inches of rain and that is nearly our yearly average. Most of that coming in the last month.
