Hope you have/had a wonderful time up at the WTF.

WTF has an entirely different meaning to me. (Shows how much *I* know about theatre!)

Looking forward to FJL's report on the show!

Were you working up to playing SACCO?

For some reason, when you write his name by itself, it sounds almost dirty.

This was a ballet based on Coward's music, and one of the movements is "Someday I'll Find You."

Perfect, DR Elmore!  Thanks!

For some reason, when you write his name by itself, it sounds almost dirty.

But when you write VANZETTI by itself, it sounds like an Italian dish..."a side of VANZETTI, please."

Metaphor: The world is a circle without any end?

One of the highlights (lowlights) of our Bacharach flop medley.  From which BK made me remove The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, LOL ("it was a big hit," professed BK, thus ignoring the fact that some of the biggest hits have also been flops of a different order).    ;D

DS Betsy flies to Wisconsin today (and boy are her arms tired--rimshot), so I have the kiddies by myself, with today being a Tigard Pops Choir concert.  Oy.

I'm told that Mercury went into Retrograde yesterday. I'm not up on astrology, but I do recall when there was some sort of retrograde condition last fall, EVERYTHING went wrong! Even after the Retrograde condition was over I was still trying to put it all right! Ugh! Now we have another one. Marvelous Matt showed up this morning with my new bathroom cabinet door and drawer fronts and...the door doesn't fit properly. So he must make a new door. And the drawer fronts don't look right, so he needs to make adjustments there. Then the electrical outlet that isn't working (but WAS working before) can't be fixed. UGH!!!

JRAND, is this what we have to look forward to for the next few weeks????

(Please, NO!)

DR DakotaCelt, we would be happy to accept some of your excess rain; however it would all dry up before it got here.

It doesn't rain in June in the Arizona desert. We won't see rain until probably mid-July. If we are lucky we will get some then.

Jeanne, I will try my hand at predicting the future:

You will fix one thing, that will lead to another, until you have an all new bathroom. Whether you want one or not.

And I predict it will take two months.

Good Afternoon!

Well, after clearing a pathway in my room, I sat down at my keyboard and did some practicing.  And will do a little bit more practicing in a little bit.  -I know there are various ways to "cheat" when it comes to playing dance breaks, but sometimes it is just easier to play what's on the page - or at least try to play what's on the page - while keeping the tempo steady.

DR TCB - As for your late night query last night: "Who is that?"  Well, his name is Carrington Vilmont.  He plays the gay brother/manager to one of the divas in The Second Tosca.  He was in The Phantom of the Opera for a while covering various roles, including Raoul at one point and time.  ...And he does have a Friendster profile.  ;)

DR DakotaCelt, we would be happy to accept some of your excess rain;

So, you'd like it to rain cats and dogs, metaphorically speaking?

Metaphor: The world is a circle without any end?

Nope - try "I'm sitting on top of the world".

A metaphor should always seem nonsensical if taken literally.

Well, if WTF means the same to you as it does to me - you should be ashamed - (Momma would wash your mouth out with soap - FelsNaptha, not Ivory!)
