Is the frog alive?

Apparently so.  I originally posted the picture in a larger version where you could see that his eyes were open.  Unfortunately, it put us into widescreen.

I saw his eyes were open, the reason I asked.  I hope he wasn't harmed after the package was opened.

           [from dear DR Jose yesterday....]

First of all, it's spelled "Zut alors!"

Secondly... You wear a schmata?!?!?!?!?  Is it pink?
---------------------------------------------------------------

Dear DR Piano-genius --

Thank you .... I've never been sure about the spelling -- and don't worry, I would never wear my schmata in public and embarass you!  :)

I must seach the house, high and lo, or is that lo and high, through piles and piles, to find certain books of sheet music.

I wanted to add one thing to the various posts about ACL and Thommie Walsh.

Thommie would (I think) be the 4th of the original cast members to die.  Back around 1993 or so, we lost a very dear and close friend of our's here in Phoenix.  His name was Rick Mason, and he was not only in the original cast, but also did all of the original "workshop sessions" that created the characters for the book.  His registered "Equity name" was Cameron Mason.

He was a sweet, very funny, multi-talented, caring and warm guy, and his death was devastating to Kerry and I.  He truly had become like a brother to us.  Rick was also partners with Clive (from the orig. ACL cast) for a few years, but they had ended their relationship but remained friends.

Ironically, when I got to know our fearless Grande Mensch here at HHW, I was surprised that he also had known Rick Mason, and in fact I think Rick had gotten him tickets to the original run of ACL in New York.  Small world!

Has anyone seen this "I got what I was looking for" ersatz musical comedy commercial for Ask.com?  Anyone know who the singer is?

.... Well,  DAMN! -- all of this talk of Mochas has made it necessary for me to drive to my favorite little independent coffee place, and get one of their incredibly good "frozen mocha" drinks...... much tastier and richer than Starbucks frappicino version.

Oh...... and please keep your wonderful vibes and thoughts going for my "complicated business stuff."  One little part of it already had a successful outcome yesterday!!  But there are still 2 or 3 other things that need to fall in place.. :o

DR EDISAURUS are you going to start selling Ti-Agra...or is the going to be the generic name for the blue pill when it becomes available in a few years?

As dramatic and heart breaking as ACL is - DR GINNY - that book takes you on the even more heart breaking journey of its creation and aftermath.

Well, I am honored that my suggestion for Free-for-all Sunday resulted in 0 additional posts.

I dare anyone to match that (other than BK).

DR JEANNE -

Yes we are in a Mercury retrograde until July 9.

Thanks for the explanation of the Mercury retrograde, JRAND!!
After my experiences with the retrograde last fall, I was dreading this one.

You will be pleased to hear that even AFTER seeing our production of CINDERELLA audience members gave us surveys requesting to see our productions of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, WICKED, and that ever popular musical LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE.

How nice for you! And even during Mercury retrograde, no less.
