Finished two episodes of The Sopranos and am trying to relax for twenty minutes before writing the notes.

But come the Fall and the new TV season?  ???

That's a horse of a different color!  I'll check out new shows to see if there are keepers...and then I'll weed 'em out like I did last season.

Heroes, Lost, Medium, Ugly Betty, Ghost Whisperer and Smallville are my must-sees on weeknights.  With Lost not premiering until January, and gosh knows where these shows will appear on the fall schedule, I'll probably just have a show (maybe two) to watch each night.  If I get a DVR by then, I may not even watch as they air...I might kick back and read a book (gasp!).

Does the word COB in Jose's decsription of FedEx's service refer to Close of Business, or is it a reference to the corny nature of some of today's humor?

[slap!]

You ain't seen "corny" humor yet!

I'm back from the basketball game.  They lost...by 20 points. ::)

Just had to share.

Now, I'm watching "Last Comic Standing" and they're in Australia.  Some (but not all) of those Australian comedians have a very...how shall I put it?...different sense of humor than us Americans. ;) But there are some very funny people on the show.

You can't fool me. I KNOW you're going to He-man and She-Ra!

After the results of tonight's game, I wish I had.

Those were groaners!  :D

They were my contribution to the strange, quixotic nature of today's postings up to the point when I began posting them

I was INSPIRED by all the previous posts.

You ALL have only yourselves to blame!

Hehehehehehe!

If you really want corny humor, I'll have to pull out my "Hee-Haw Outhouse Companion" and mull over some good'uns!

George, I also want to wish your parents an early happy anniversary in case I don't get the chance to.

Thank you very much, Danise!  And I'm sure that they would also! ;D

I saw the first professional staging of "Joseph" in London 1973. (Coupled with Jacob's Journey).  The Pharoah was played by Gordon Waller (of Peter and Gordon). Back then the show was not a Rock star/Pop show and had delightful charm. Musically it is still my favourite ALW score.

I love the original Broadway cast recording with Laurie Beechman and Bill Hutton!  It was a delightful little show and not what it's become...an over-wrought, over-bloated, every-song-has-to-be-rewritten-into-a-showstopper-wanna-be pile of...well, you get my drift. ::)
