TOD: Children Running Through by Patty Griffin (has the Heavenly Day song on it -- love it!)

DCelt -- There was some clip of her singing with The Chieftans on YouTube -- but now I can't find it -- and can't find when and where she was singing with them.

He was logged in either yesterday or today at some ridiculous hour in the middle of the night, but didn't post.

WHAT?!  Mr P had the opportunity to post and didn't take it?  Something ain't right ... Something's fishy ... we must send someone to check on him post haste!

Hey, darling Man in Pink -- Are you breaking a sweat yet down there in the Valley of the Relentless Sun?  It's actually showing a chance for rain up here in the hot pines....

Time to be off for work, with Brenda LEIGH Johnson!

I had noticed that little error yesterday, too, but didn't say anything. I knew what you meant.

I'll be heading down in a little bit to clean up for my usual Friday errands. SInce I didn't have lunch out yesterday, I REALLY need to clean up!

I STILL have the Tony Awards on my DVR to transfer to a DVD-R. Can't believe I haven't gotten around to that yet. Hopefully this weekend!

Only one more week until the return of PSYCH and its new season. I'm psyched (no pun intended) about that!

MONK returns, too, next week, and I'll watch, but last season was a definite step down in quality for me (there were a few good episodes, but the mysteries themselves were very poor last year).

Hi DR Mizz Karen....."Breaking a sweat??"  Please --- horses sweat, gentlemen perspire, and ladies "glow."    I always loved that old Victorian descriptive phrase!

And yea momma.... my pinks is a drippin' !  It is hotter than dear Elmo's VCR ...... it is hotter than Mikey B's eyes...... it is hotter than dear Jose's *&#*#&^*@.... it is hotter than dear Jason's po-po....

Well, you get the picture!

Yes, I had noticed that we hadn't heard from DR Ron Pulliam in the last few days. Hope all is well and that he'll come back soon.

And now I think Sugar is going to get an early-morning walk, so that it is nicer for both of us.  In a very short time it is supposed to get back up around 114 or so today.

Such weather once described by a friend of mine as "....being hotter than the hinges of Hades!"

And the TOD:
     DVD - none this week
CD - The beautiful and sparkling "Jubilee" production (thank you thank you
     dear Larry).
VCR - hmmmm.. something about a resort in Florida where the staff really seem to go out of their way to make the guests very comfortable

Friday morning greetings!  Today's an information-waitressing day, then I get a 3-day weekend - YAY!  The big news here is that our assistant manager is to be promoted to manager, as of Monday.  He's not much older than my son.

Media report - CD(car) Cole Porter's Jubilee - thank you, DR Elmore  :-*; DVD - ?

DR Matt, I burned the Tonys to DVD only this week, too.  I'm glad that this year I remembered to record at Medium Quality so I could fit the whole thing onto one disk.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the show again now that's it's been a month, and I really should do this today instead of watching a steady stream of MURDER SHE WROTE episodes!

Today was our coldest day here for 5 years. Our gas heater has decided not to work this evening!

How cold is cold, DR TOMOVOZ, in the Land of Oz?

It is always a terror of mine that either the A/C or the heater won't work when needed. And you don't know it's broken UNTIL you need it, and then it's too late!

DR NOEL,
Glad to see the link to your show. I had the impression from a previous post that you were unable to obtain funding. This is a different show?
