You'd think I'd get around to updating my picture.

I'd think I would.

But I need to get a few days behind me first 'cause there's no access time to the scanner when I'm at it and I can't be at the scanner when it's accessible.

Dig?

No?

That's okay!

All right.

I got us started on page 7.

That ought to make Der BK happy.

I may not be starting a posting frenzy, but you've got to admit I've posted a flurry.

I've been sitting in a classroom all day learning about a pending upgrade in our PeopleSoft financial database.

Somehow, it's totally different from sitting at my desk doing normal work, even though I work with my computer a lot.

We are a mere 16 posts away from breaking 200.

I know that's not much considering we were doing that by noon all last week.

But it means something to BK!

Dang!  Danise is going to bed?  ALREADY???

Bless her heart!

I'm still trying to wind down from a hinky Monday.

And I may personally try to get us to 200 if someone doesn't step in real soon and post something else.

:)

Noel---
Re John Ingles and GENERAL HOSPITAL.  ABC is on a budget slashing kick and are getting rid of people on all their soaps.  On GH, first they let 90-year-old Anna Lee (also known from films such as "How Green Was My Valley" and "The Sound Of Music") go.  They also got rid of Rachel Ames who had been with the show 39 years, since shortly after it went on the air.  Then they fired Ingles and three other actors (including Kin Shrinner who played Scotty Baldwin for over twenty-five years and was a big part of the landmark Luke and Laura story).  Since they tape so far in advance, Ingles is still airing on the show for a while although he may have already taped his final episode..  My guess is that they will kill off Ingles and Lee (who plays his wife) together and it will probably be in a mob-related storyline.  GENERAL HOSPITAL has re-fashioned itself as "The Sopranos in the Afterrnoon", and has slowly gotten rid of every character without mob connections.

JMK I hope the publicity finds you a better 5% of people with the funds to make a difference.  I will never comprehend the narrow mindedness of people.

George good vibes to getting your car fixed quickly.  I’m lucky to have found a mechanic I can trust.  It doesn’t necessarily save me money but at least I believe he is telling me the truth. :)

The pink was on the light side so I changed it to red.  Since you liked the pink, I made the print larger and went back to your favorite color.

Columbia has, except for a few strange exceptions, done stellar work.  Funny Girl looks faboo, the Harryhausens look terrific and on and on and on.

As does FUNNY LADY, THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT and truth be told, FOR PETE'S SAKE.

Man, I need READING MATTER.

May I be so bold as to recommend THE MOONSTONE?

It's what i'm reading right now, and, thoroughly immersed in it.
Like THE WOMAN IN WHITE (Lady in white?), Collins takes several voices to tell the tale.

DRTD - I got my copy of SYMPATHETIC MAGIC today and read it. I am stunned.  I love this play.  I think I will start talking it up around Indy.  Maybe somebody smart will take me up on the offer!

. . .and I just got back from the first READTHROUGH, and am now even more blown away, stunned and infinitely PROUD to have been cast in this show!
And to get to share the stage with this cast which Melanie has assembled!
I think all H/Ks should take a road trip to Pittsburgh when March rolls around. . .
