Well, you've read the notes, the notes were blurry, and now it is time for you to post until the blurry cows come home.

Sometimes when you're so tired, it's like you're not tired.  That was very Zen, wasn't it?

Maybe they are working overtime to amass funds to buy BRAIN shares.

And as some DRs may have noticed, OZDerek would have been celebrating his birthday today. I spoke with his sister Maureen today.

DerBrucer - I have no idea! I do know hotels avoid the number.
I have not worked in a city nor do I visit the CBD often. I'm an urban fringe dweller.

I've started a list for the Topic of the Day, but it's a little Sondheim heavy, but I don't care. ;)

IMDB NEWS

Quote
New Edition of Controversial 'Caligula' To Be Released

Caligula, the 1976 film that featured such respected actors at Malcolm McDowell, Peter O'Toole, Helen Mirren, and the late John Gielgud -- all of whom were blindsided when producer Bob Guccioni of Penthouse magazine fame cut x-rated scenes into the movie -- is due to be released on DVD as the "Four-Disc Imperial Edition" by Image Entertainment on October 2nd, the distributor announced Tuesday. The film has previously been released in versions that were as short as 98 minutes and as long as three hours. In a statement, the company said that the DVD set will include newly recorded, no-holds-barred commentary tracks by McDowell and Mirren. In addition, the set includes two versions of The Making of Caligula, one of which includes deleted and alternate scenes.

Let me hazard a few guesses:

A. DR Barnum has never heard of it.
B. DR Ginny's library won't stock it
C. It will fail to make DR Jane's Netflix list
D. DR MATTH will have an essay on skin-tone transfers
E. HHW Spoiler-Alert policy may need revisiting
F. DR JMK will know of a Brazilain Jazz version of the soundtrack
G. DR Elmore will insist on a VCR version

Tell me it's not true!

Caligula (uncut) was so very very bad! And the movie too.

DR DearReaderLaura - WOW!  You really outdid yourself with that photo spread!  What an adventure!

DR Michael S. - Don't know if Sondheim came up with the lyric to "Goodbye for Now" from Reds simultaneously or after the fact.

DR Vixmom - sorry to hear about the water in your basement.  Hope things are OK for you!

DR Cillaliz - many wonderful adventures for you yesterday!   :)
