In any case...

I'm back at my apartment, and I shall be leaving very shortly to join the newest location of New York Sports Club which just happens to be two short blocks from my apartment. And the "VIP Grand Opening" membership deal is pretty decent - no initiation or enrollment fee, and my monthly rate is only 1/2 of the regular rate for the first year. Not bad at all. And since it's so close to the apartment, very convenient too.

Well, I better start walking.

Good Evening!

Back from the gym... Which, as it turns out, is not slated to fully open until October 1. Ah, well... I took the tour of the still in-the-process-of-being-completed places and it looks pretty good. It's one of those places that looks small on the outside, but is surprisingly roomy once you step in the door. Three floors roomy, in fact.

Even though the club is not slated to open for another couple of weeks, I went ahead and signed up anyway. What I didn't realize until before today was that the special Grand Opening rate is actually the rate for the life of my membership - I thought it was just for the first year. So, I'm basically getting almost 50% off the regular monthly fee for as long as I want. Not a bad deal at all. I can feel by tummy flattening and my biceps bulging already.
