Maybe his visage would be improved with a pink bathing cap?

With a noose.

Are we depraved on account of being deprived?

My that was a particularly mean-spirited, ill-meaning post on my behalf at such a relatively early hour.

Jose - hope you'll stop by.  Anyone else is welcome, too, but let Cason know so he can up the reservation.

BK's show doesn't need buzz.  It's got near-naked men.  Why those near-naked men are not in the ads (like those ads for the underwear musical  :) - which I hear is also quite good, BTW), I'll never know.

Well, I guess I'll mosey on down to the gate.  I'll post as soon as I get Ye Olde Laptop up and running in my New York, New York apartment.

It was suggested that we start a phony feud between Brain and Starfighter to generate publicity.  I can see the Michael Riedel column now:  SCIENCE FRICTION REIGNS AT NYMF.  :)

DR Edisaurus - DH and I have finally begun viewing The Closer.  I know, about time, right?  We started right in at the beginning and are about 6 episodes in [first season].

It really is good.  Thanks to all DRs for the recommendation!

Oh joy!  Our corporate networks are down once again.

Does Joy know how to fix such things? She is a woman of many talents!

I haven't seen the whole thing...it's so heartbreaking I can't watch the whole thing at one time. A friend of mine edited it---I can't imagine how he felt while he was working on this.

I don't know if my old house survived, but my elementary school (2 blocks away) was under 8 ft of water and it was a bad neighborhood of old houses, so I'd be surprised if it was still there.

I'm not a big Spike Lee fan, but I liked what I saw of this. Just be prepared---it's so depressing and with some graphic images.

I will single-handedly take us to page four.

At this time of the morning? I don't think so.

DR singdaw - I think that pic is more horrifying than Princess Jason.

Princess Jason was cute and fun.

Rove, on the other hand, is more horrifying than the Wicked Witch of the West.

Good morning!

We did have a HUGE thunderstorm (complete with hail) last night around 6 p.m., but it didn't last long.

Today is supposed to be 99.

I hate summer (in case I haven't made myself clear earlier).

Today looks to be another day with nothing but DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES episodes. I may watch the last of the Charlie Chan films in the latest box - CHARLIE CHAN AT MONTE CARLO - since they last only a bit over an hour.

I'm not sure I've ever seen CHARLIE CHAN AT MONTE CARLO. After one has seen so many of these series films, it's hard to remember from the titles alone what's been seen and what hasn't.
