There are many many times when I think of this group as my "real" family.  TCB, I couldn't agree with you more.

I know what you mean Matt, When I got about three chapters from the end I started rereading the chapters  before moving on....and when  I was done I wnet back about 6 chapters and reread it all again.

Oh, it's going by even too quickly for me now. I just crossed iover page 500, and I wish I were just starting. It's just flying by with all the chases and narrow escapes. Zowie!

Happy New Year to all who celebrate.

My coworker who just celebrated her Bat Mitzvah in June (since she never did and wanted to before her daughter makes hers in 2 years time) brought in apples and honey... I looked up the appropriate prayer on Google (www.jewFAQ.org) and she read it to us (in Hebrew) and we all dipped our apple slices in honey and wished her a happy New Year.

In honor of the record THE CLOSER set on Monday night, I decided to watch some season 2 episodes. I watched three of them: the one with the death of the restaurant owner, the one with Brenda being a character witness for Chief Pope, and . . . .

the one she submitted for Emmy consideration - "Slippin"' about he drive-by shooting of three college age kids.

Well, DRs, I'm going to bed.  Even though I'll log off from my home computer, I have a feeling that I forgot to log off HHW on my work machine when I left abruptly this afternoon.

Goodnight and thanks for being here.

Next, I watched tonight's episode of BONES (the TV show, just in case DR TCB is confused). It was the season 2 finale episode setting us up for next week's season premiere.

And then I concluded my evening with the season finale of RESCUE ME. Oh my, Denis Leary is clearing the dockets. We already had one death in the regular cast earlier in the season, and tonight we had another.

TCB... very well said and very, very true.

I find myself often thinking of each of you during the day, wondering how you are doing, and sending "mental vibes" and of course prayers, that things are going well for each and everyone of you

even for DerB, no matter how mean he is to me.

My best to DC Callie, too. Cilla, I used to have a cat named Callie, but I spelled it Caley. I recall one time when she was hospitalized. I missed her so much I went to visit and asked for a loan cat.

LOL!  That's pretty funny.   I miss Cal, but I know that she was in a lot of pain and that what they are doing is the only way she will get better.  I wanted to visit her and am glad I did, I just hope she doesn't start associating me with what she's going through.

I don't need a loaner, I have Boo Boo Ann who is starting to sleep with me because it's getting cold at night.  I was looking for something feminine to add to her name and all of a sudden started singing Boo Boo Boo, Boo Boo Boo Ann. Boo Boo Boo, Boo Boo Boo Ann... oh Boo Boo Ann, take my hand....  so that's her name

Callie's song is Callie Sue to the tune of Peggy Sue.   Somehow she's become Callie Sue Marie, not quite sure where the Marie comes from.   The vet still calls her Miss Callie....that is so 2 years ago, lol

Good night everyone.  It's time for me to figure out which meds will be best for what has now become and aching runny nose and try to get some sleep.
