CAT scan results vibes for DR EDISAURUS.

Thanks, JRand57! BTW, I was sorry to hear about your friend...vibes to his family.

No results yet, but I am feeling better.

Monopoly [which I disliked because it took so long]

This was our game of choice during hurricane season, when we'd lose power, simply because it took so long!

Favorite camping game: Yahtzee!

FJL, I have an important question for you:

I have finished my taxes for the 10/15 deadline. I didn't make an appointment with our accountant beause my DH has been so busy I didn't know when he would be able to do his, so I told him to make the appointment and I would have my stuff ready for him.

Today he realized that the 15th was Monday, tried to make an appoitment for today and was told that our accountant is already booked.

So my question is, of these quickie tax services like H&R Block, etc., do you know of a national one that is reputable, etc? Is there any way to file ANOTHER EXTENSION or is Oct. 15th the last one you can get? Is there a temporary form you can file and then do an amended return? Or anything else we haven't thought of?

This will teach us to move right before taxes are due!

Don't worry, we'll send you fruitcake in prison.

Plus there's that 500 lb. foot he has to haul around!

And what was the game with the little "dice bubble" in the middle of the board?  I liked playing that too.

Trouble, with the Pop-O-Matic?

I bet this will be revealed before I finish making my way through the posts...

OH! It was POP-O-MATIC TROUBLE!

Jeez, I guess I could have at least scroled to the end of the page!

My former assistant told me once that he thought the guy who was supposedly "the dud" in the MYSTERY DATE game was hot!

I have a new lease on life, for the weekend anyway. After staying up until 2AM even though I had a session at 9, I masically locked the Johnny Mercer demo I was working on for teh Mercer foundation's meeting in NY on Sat. The people I was doing this for would be flying up with it Friday morning.

She called me at 8:30 to say that she got an email and that they wouldn't have time in their meeting to watch it.

Oh well, at least it made me get it (mostly) done, but I sure could have used a little less stress!

And, yes, I'm still up.  I ended up watching a bit of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", and I did a bit of stretching too.  And I also continued my Miracle Ball 'workout' which seems to be doing wonders for my back, neck and arms.

Now if I could only get to the gym... The one two blocks from my apartment... That opened last Monday... And that I joined a couple of weeks ago...  However...

Jeanne:  Re: prawfsblawg (or however it is spelled).  I was totally zoned on that whole sub-discussion.  But I think BK and S. Woody are correct -- not enough vowels.

No baby anymore... The Little One(tm) is now 2, running us ragged and making us nuts. I'm sure he'll calm down in two months, when (G-d willing, ptu ptu ptu) he becomes an older brother... :)

A friend of mine used to say "G-d willing, here comes the spit."

Since I have been getting up early this week, I was thinking I would try to head to the gym tomorrow/this morning before my day of auditions.  Well, when I went to check the hours on-line, there was an announcement stating that they would be closed tomorrow due to repairs to the water system.  Hmm... :-\

OK. Off now to rejoin Moose and Squirrel.

I used to have a Russian editing assistant who had been a filmmaker there. He was not a good assistant but I liked him enough to let him stay at my house.

I had to do nost of his work for him, but I did teach him to say "Moose and Squirrel" whenever I got aggravated and it always made me laugh.

He moved to NY and I lost track of him, but I think of him whenever I hear that phrase!

Can we say Mom is an Enabler?

I shudder to think what that home-schooling syllabus looks like.

He's gonna shoot his eye out one day. Or maybe his whole brain! (I don't think his mom has one anymore...)
