First of all the leader of this so-called cult is not one of the people barricaded inside the cave.

Laughable until you read the details, so bizarre.

The original price of The Ridiculously Expensive Mad was - $9.95

Obviously it took less than I thought to make my Mom bitch--but that's a logical impossibility, since I maintained throughout her life that it took nothing to make her bitch.    ;D

Just peachy!  Thanks for asking. :) I looked at it up close not to long ago and I can't even tell that anything was ever wrong with it.

I need a new chair for my small work area-this one is killing my back, neck and shoulders.  Actually the entire set up is.

Keith got himself a new keyboard & then found it doesn’t work for gaming-he loves his computer games.  I really like the keyboard so he hooked it up to my laptop, along with his old computer screen.  It is all much larger than a laptop and has thrown my body out of position (if only there were room to set the screen farther back).  Bryan has a smaller screen so I’ll trade with him at Thanksgiving, to his delight.   Until then, I’ll wait to go looking for a chair.

MBarnum, have you ever seen "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai"? It was popular at the late, lamented Bollywood theatre near my house in Marietta.

This movie I have not seen. Yet.

Well, I'm off.  A friend in the cast of Nite of the Living Dead! The Musical! is having a party, and I've been invited.  It's not a cast party, so there will be people there that I don't know. :-\ I hope I'm not too boring. ::)

;)

Until later!

Some sad news to report, Ronnie Burns, actor son of George Burns and Gracie Allen died Wednesday of cancer at his home in Pacific Palisades. He was 72.

He made a few films and also played Burns and Allen's son on their TV show.  He was pretty darn good...and very cute! He also starred in his own sitcom, opposite Yvonne Lime and a talking baby, in the 1960s show HAPPY. I recently found episodes of that show it wasn't bad..well, except the talking baby part.

I began my evening watching THE SANTA CLAUSE 3 in Blu-ray. Of course, the increased resolution made the picture sharper and the colors vibrant without blooming. Didn't make the movie any better, alas.

I thought Ronnie Burns was cute, too. I do remember him from his parents' show.

I also watched the bonus features on the Blu-ray. Everything from the DVD was ported over, only in high definition (1080i) except the music video which was 480i.

There were a couple of bonus features on the Blu-ray that weren't on the SD-DVD. One was a virtual tour of the menu screen. The high definition animation turned 360 degrees and was quite beautifully and intricately animated.

Another was a virtual family room which you could decorate with dozens of ornaments, trim, etc.- tree, stockings, wreath. Could be fun for little ones to play with.

GHOST WHISPERER had a very creepy and evil-themed episode tonight. Matthew Morrison (looking luscious as usual) was a guest star and so was Alan Ruck.

MOONLIGHT had another top-notch hour: scary, sexy, and moving. I really love this show!

WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB had a much better episode than last night, a race against time to stop an execution story and possibly the beginning of a boy friend for one of the club members. Also, the longing looks between Angie Harmon and Rob Estes are very sexy and certainly are going to have fans wanting an eventual reconciliation between them. Great hook for the show.
