And the word of the day is: PALLIATE!

Perhaps these will help palliate the discourse in Sudan:

I hear George has a bit of indigestion - must be from a palliate at last evening's performance.

I have The Manhattan Transfer's recording of Tubby the Tuba, and from what I've read, it's the only time that all four Tubby stories are on the same recording. :) I never heard any Tubby recordings until this.  I actually enjoy it a lot.  The four singers are such good singers.  They make it fun. :D

TOD:  I have a lot of people to buy for, and multiple gifts.  So I basically never stop shopping year round.  I'm always on the lookout for the perfect fit of gift to person, and as I buy things throughout the year, I  throw it all into a closet.  Then, along about now, I drag the whole lot out to see what I've got, and if I need to get anything else.  It's kind of a haphazard system, but it works for me.

Good morning, all! I'm off to Toyland this morning, and I'll spend a good amount of the day there; I have several things to accomplish: finish up cataloging the music papers used in LADY OF THE SLIPPER and  begin the rewrites on the critical commentary for BABES IN TOYLAND.  I need to check for more reiews of the BABES 2nd class tour on thehistoric newspaper site but I can do that here.

After that, I'm back here to continue with the Men's Chorus arrangements, after a stop at the pharmacist to pick up a few perscriptions.

TOD:  I buy gifts during the year and pray to God the person for whom it's intended doesn't purchase it first.

I usually have about 50 people on my list to deal with, because I have my mom and her partner and his family, my dad and his wife and her family, Greg's family, our clients and people we deal with on a day-to-day basis and of course, friends.

This year is the first time I'm going into the holidays without a lot of work (which usually equals cash), plus we have spent so much on doing the things we've done regarding our move, that I'm having to be very creative!

That said, Singdaw decripbed my method perfectly, and moving was a great opportunity to get all the xmas presents into 2 boxes. After we get back I'll lay them all out and fill in the blanks!

I also rarely "regift", unless it's something I would never use but the perfect thing for someone else, (not many people would want the things I would) but I think some of that might happen as well!

My shopping is done, mostly done online, although I keep my eye open when I am shopping otherwise, for this and that for people.

No, that's not true, I do have one more thing to get today, which I will do in a hour or so.

I loved choreographing this number when we did PIPPIN!!!  So much fun when you have a couple of actors who will try what you want, and who are also inventive enough to add something to the number!

MR BK - I also believe there are file storage sites (free) where you can put the clips you want to upload so that they aren't using your hard drive space.

While looking up EXPIRATION DATE last night for Jane, I ended up buying 3 copies. Don't know who I'll give them to but somebody will like them, I hope, and the guy who made it will have a little extra change for shopping. (He self-distributes his films.)
