Had a wonderful dinner/gift exchange. We had beef stroganoff, and it was beyond delicious. I ate far too much food.

For dessert, we had some chocolate macadamian (?) nut truffles and chocolate martinis (I had two).

Got a few more DVDs (including I'LL CRY TOMORROW and the Blu-ray of TWILIGHT ZONE-THE MOVIE), some CDs, and a Best Buy gift card.

For our Christmas movie this year, we watched MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL. I think all of us were so full of food and drink that it video lulled us into sleep. I know I nodded off a couple of times, and I looked at everyone else whose heads were also bobbing up and down.

When it was over, we put in the Alister Sim SCROOGE and watched about a half an hour of it which held everyone's attention much more, but by 10:30, I was exhausted, and I excused myself and came home.

So, tomorrow, I'll have tonight's SUPERNATURAL to watch, and then it's back to the review stack and JACKASS 2.5.

I've had a question that one of you geniuses can answer, I'm sure: What were the number of players in the original B'way Sweeney Todd pit band?  I'm thinking twenty-two, but I know someone will have a score or a program and can tell me.

My Playbill from the original B'way production at the Uris credits no one in the pit (save Gemignani).

Watching one of those Disney Tin DVDS about the history of Disneyland - the newer one, not the Disneyland USA one.  There's a long documentary about the creation, with many of the folks who were there, but boy is it ineptly directed and put together, almost like some video program done in 1982 or something - that bad.

Off to dinner with my friend Margo, then on to the midnight showing of the "Sweeney Todd" movie!  But first, I have to go home, then go to my parents' house for a bit.  Be back much later!

I won't be able to do it.  I'm sure someone will, though.

I don't know anything about taking snapshots.  (But wasn't Snapshots a musical revue featuring the songs of Stephen Schwartz?  I believe I saw Bill Parry perform in that show at Westport.)

Just returned from eating pizza with my buddy Jim and then we drove over to WORLD MARKET and gazed at all the pretty things.

I bought some marzipan shaped like little piggies.

This Freddie is having ice cream and eyeing a bottle of hot fudge, which is close enough to Bosco to make this a weird coincidence.

Was busy tending to getting packages ready to take with me tomorrow after work tomorrow to my mother's.

Also feeling a tad sad .... Tomorrow would have been my dad's birthday. I do plan to have a beer in his honor after work.

All this talk! I just went and got some ice cream, assisted by a sliced banana and some chocolate syrup.
