A heater on the wall
Signifies success.
Whose success I cannot guess...
Unless...

[sort of a Pacific Overtures reference]

Good morning!

It is VERY cold here and going to get colder during the next few days. Not getting out of the 30s today which is very cold for us. I'm not sure we had any lows in the teens in 2007, but we're going to have two nights of them upcoming.

I think I will watch FIVE LITTLE PEPPERS IN TROUBLE, as it is on my DVR. Seeing as how I have interviewed two of the cast members, it might be fun.

The season premiere of LAW & ORDER happens tonight on NBC. They're running two new hours back-to-back, and these hours introduce new cast members to the show. Linus Roche will now be the primary ADA with Sam Waterston moved up to the head DA job. I love Linus Roche, so the show should benefit from this change. Jeremy Sisto also joins Jesse Martin as a detective in the show's "Law" part.

Today I'll watch the two shows I recorded last night. The BOSTON LEGAL episode description sounded vaguely familiar, so it may have been a repeat. If so, I'll instantly delete it and go on to SVU.

As for the remainder of the day, I've got to spend part of it with ROB & BIG though I doubt I'll finish the set today. It's just so mindless that I can't summon up much energy to watch episode after episode back-to-back. I have to temper those shenanigans with something of a little more substance.

Julie, that show you saw, Queens Boulevard - that show's author only thinks about Mee, Mee, Mee.

(The author of Queens Boulevard is Charles Mee, so that was a pun of some sort.)

Do any of the show's characters sing "For Mee...For Mee...For MEEEEEEEE"?  ;)

Interestingly, DR TCB, the review of the show said that this is exactly what the show is about - his struggle to live in the shadow of his more famous and more successful brother.

I haven't heard of either one of them, but that means absolutely nothing.

Yeah, well - someone should have told the Signature Theater this year that three Mee's don't make a right.

Good morning, everyone.

I didn't fall asleep until 2:30 and am feeling not altogether with it today. My father was a terrible insomniac. I never had problems sleeping until he passed away. It's as if he passed me the insomnia baton. Funny, eh?

A guy just asked why he had to pay to leave the garage. How do you answer that?

Well, as I see it you have several options:
(1) You can ask him if he likes cherry coke.
(2) You can tell him to eat his vegetables.
(3) You can shout, "UNDERPANTS!"

He'll probably feel so bewildered that he'll be happy to leave.

Seriously, crossword puzzles are supposed to stimulate certain areas of the brain, thus making said puzzler more alert, more mentally agile. I would think that the humor that takes place here stimulates the brain, as well. (Well, maybe not MY so-called humor--not today, anyway.)
