The work day is -- mercifully -- over. I tell you, there are so many folks out there who want you to do "their" work for them it just isn't funny. I won't do it, of course, and I tell them what they have to do "now" to get the problem they've presented to me corrected in their favor so that they can continue to work their projects.

Went ahead and did a seventh page. I've never quite moved this fast at the beginning of a book, but, like the Kritzer books, since this is the followup to MAHH, I'm not inventing all new characters. I am having a good deal of fun.

I busted hiney getting through everything I needed to do...sending out e-mails clarifying what needed doing with things that had been sitting for who-knows-how-long on my desk waiting for someone to make a "decision".

It rained a few buckets this afternoon, but we seem to be in the "lull before the storm" now. Am wondering if it's actually going to happen.

If it doesn't, there's going to be some relieved people, and there's going to be some disappointed people.

I don't mind a buildup, but I sure do prefer a delivery afterward.

I'm pretty stoked about FSM's upcoming 2-CD soundtrack release of "The Land of the Pharaohs" by Dimitri Tiomkin.

I have a 2-CD boot of it that sounds good, but the samples for the FSM mix sound better to my ears.

I can think of one title that would fit the bill for any label lucky enough (rich enough, too) to release it. And since it will commemorate Robert Townson's 1,000th film score CD release, what might be better than Alex North's magnum opus?
