I thought Young Frankenstein the CD was pretty dreadful in just about every way, and that includes the AWFUL arrangement of Puttin' On The Ritz.

Well, bk, the Loudon clip dvd shall be copied for you presently.
I'll burn the FOLLIES shortly.
I'm downloading the Lansbury as I type. . .

Excellent.  If you need an address to send the DVD to, let me know.  And if you find a few other fun B'way videos, stick 'em on there.

I loved A HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD.

I liked it much more than I thought I would.

Really appreciated the link to the Lansbury/GYPSY clips. How great is it to see some of these things? Those who only know her from MURDER SHE WROTE can really get a thrill seeing what she could do on stage with a truly versatile role.

I'd been wondering about this tacky crab costume from the tv ads to LITTLE MERMAID.  Now I see the hat is supposed to be his eyes.  And here I thought the BEAUTY & THE BEAST designs smacked of tacky theme park! That Disney. When are they going to produce something good?

Well, just wait till you see the seagull costumes.  ;)  In any case...

Titus Burgess is playing Sebastian, and the one who is donning that costume.  And he continues to sing like a dream.  :)

And if anyone is looking for a good R&B album:

Oh, cool, I found one of Skip's songs (from Hunchback Part II) on youtube

And in Portguese, too (at least I think it's Portugese):

I bet Skip didn't know he'd been translated into Portugese.

Believe it or not, with all 12 flavors we've had of Graeter's Ice Cream, the most special so far has the the Vanilla ice cream.  (After that, the Cookies and Cream.)

...And I have to say that even though I'm a certified Choco-holic, my favorite cupcake at Magnolia Bakery is Vanilla-Vanilla (cake and frosting).

-And all good ice cream lines have to start with a good Vanilla.  Everything else if just a variation on a theme.

Goodnight.

Interesting.

Here is a more detailed accounting: USA TODAY

It concludes:

Quote
Eugene Fidell of the National Institute of Military Justice, a group of military legal experts, wonders whether the dwindling number of discharges suggests broader implications for the policy. "Is it dying basically for lack of interest?" he asks. "Military managers may be turning a blind eye because it's a nuisance, and we need these people."
