DR George, I was very fortunate to have a real estate agent who talked me into going for a 15 year mortgage when I bought my house with the result that I had the house paid off several years before I retired and was able to use the money I wasn't paying for the mortgage over the course of years to save up a nice little nestegg to live on now.

It was among the best decisions I ever made.

I know!  Instead of it being paid off when I'm 70 (and three years after I've retired), I'll be 56! ;)

Good for you, Vixmom. Follow up with a written letter.

I just may.  I will wait to calm down a little more. I just wanted to slap his smug, nasty face and send him to his room

I think that if someone is old enough to work at the cash register, deal with and be responsible for money that a business takes in, then that person is old enough to deal with the repercussions of having that kind of "attitude."  That was completely inappropriate and it should never be tolerated by the management of the store.  I say fire the jerk.  Just my 2¢.

Speaking of fun. . .I once must again say THANK YOU, DR GEORGE!
I'm spending the evening listening to foreign tongues!

Once again, you're welcome! ;D

DR edisaurus - Ah, Bolcom's "Graceful Ghost Rag".  :)  There's also a version for violin and piano - which, at times, I sort of prefer.  However, Bolcom has written a couple of piano rags, and not only are they published, but they've also been recorded:

Back from a VERY long evening of film watching.  The DGA award went to the Coen brothers - my vote went to someone else.

I guess I shall now try to breeze through some notes.  From our summery day we ended up with a huge rainstorm, which is supposedly going to continue on Sunday.
