Thick giner snaps or the thin, sweedish ones?

These were on the thick side.  Actually, they were sized like "regular"-sized cookies.  Not ideal, but they were yummy.

Jane, I'm sorry, but giner snaps just sounds unseemly.  At least it's better than 'giner snaps.   ;D

Hi all,

I signed onto the site and was reading some of the posts before posting myself when the phone rang.

By the time I got off the phone, I needed to make dinner and feed the dogs, then I got busy with other things and forgot I had I had walked away with making a post!

I hope everyone is doing well.  Belated birthday wishes and vibes to everyone I missed these past couple of weeks!

Last night was the evening of the Sylvia Jones award winners with the theater group I used to belong to.

I didn't think I would really go but I told myself that I needed to get out among people.  It was nice.  I saw a few people I knew but it was mostly young kids.

I'll try to go back and see some of the plays but I'm not interested in performing anymore.

I don't remember if I told you, Cilla, that your friend, the Naked Cowboy, was in town on vacation.  He had his picture in the local paper.

I find it hard to believe that a man who's greatest claim to fame is walking around NY in his underwear, gets to go to Florida for vacation!

I finally wrote four pages - will try to do another three a little later.  I've chosen the road I'm going down and will just hope it plays out the way I want it to, plot-wise.  Interestingly, when I first began this book, I had an idea of how I wanted to handle the ending, but I really didn't see how I could do it, and yet that's precisely the path I chose, so it will be interesting to see if it actually works.  It's a time-honored device and one I love, so I'm going to just try and have fun with it and make and let it lead me wherever it may.

I love ginger snaps

I do too, both kinds.  It is more difficult to find good thin ones.

JMK I made the print larger so I can watch more carefully for errors. ;D

I went to the Lamplighter for my late breakfast and had a scrambled egg and chorizo breakfast burrito, which, I must say, was really good.  So, the question is, do I want to or need to eat anything else tonight.

I'm also trying not to be negative or annoyed with the earlier event of the day.

Jose - When you were here at the same time as the Graeters Dozen, there were so many people here that i was afraid the Graeters would all be gone if we offered it. :)  (But Skip's red wine cake was even greater than Graeter's, I thought.)

Perhaps a donut or two would perk me up.  Then I could watch a motion picture on DVD, after which I could try to write another three pages or so.

He had the same pose as he did with Cilla--only this time it was with an elderly local lady.  She had her hand on his  ahhh  backside and he was was looking over his shoulder at the camera.   :D

I have the super bowl on.  Why?  I don't know.  I have no idea as to what is going on but I know it will be the talk of the office tomorrow.

That's funny. I suppose it is a bit chilly to be in your briefs in New York this time of the year

Yeah Giants!  I watched about the last 5 minutes of the game. I didn't think the Giants would win, but I wanted them to...I'm glad they did

Sure wish the first 3 quarters of the Super Bowl had been as exciting as the 4th.

Nice to see that DR Danise was here - come back more often!

'night!

DR Danise, I was just thinking about you today...and here you are!

I wonder if that would work with George Clooney?

The greatest upset in Super Bowl history!  New England's perfect season? NOT!  Great job, New York Giants!
