Good morning, good day, how are you this beautiful day?  I am up but not at 'em.  I'm very groggy right now.

Mr Brennan lost for Sgt York to Donald Crisp for HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY:: I think Mr Crisp went back to silent films and was even more of an old time favorite than MR Brennan(not to mention that his performance was extraordinary)One Andrews'  performance I also liked was that Ed Sullivan show devoted to Lerner & Loewe. She and Mr Burton did several scenes from CAMELOT and brought down the house with "What Do the Simple Folk Do?"...I was down at Record Lane the minute school got out on Monday.

Hello, everyone--including BK, I see.

TOD:
Would have to be VICTOR/VICTORIA, which has always been one of my favorite films. A sort of guilty pleasure because I don't think of it as a great film--just a really fun film that was very well done. Is that the definition of a great film? Oh, well. I like the film.

Also liked JA in TORN CURTAIN.

Destress, depiss vibes to DR ELMORE. May you soon reclaim your sense of humor and your razor-sharp wit.

My favourite James Garner movie and my favourite Julie andrews movie are one and the same, THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY.

I also like Garner in THE GREAT ESCAPE and SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERIFF.

Donald Crisp deserved his Oscar for HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY.  A moving, poignant portrayal of the Welsh patriarch.  He was one of the greatest character actors we had

The shipping company called me on Monday to schedule the bed delivery for today between noon and 5 pm.  The driver showed up at 11 am, God knows what the hell was the reason.  I've now assembled the bed but now I have no idea where I want to place it in the room.  My current thought is up the landlord's  derriere but that's another story.

I also got a testy voice message from my colleague about my dismay over the invoice situation this week. I really want to kick some butt today, and I don't like this anger.

I've heard Singdaw likes slapping (or least watching).  Maybe you can work something out.   ;D

When I'm pissed, I have no sense of humor and at the moment I have none.

Sounds more like "f&*king furious" than "pissed" - and justifyingly so.

DR Ron Pulliam - I believe DR elmore was stating/implying/etc. that Baz's staging of "La Boheme" was set during the 1950s, not originally produced and staged in the 1950s.  Even I know that DR elmore would have not made such a mistake regardless of how much bug spray and Steri-Fab he's been inhaling over the past couple of weeks.  ;)

Well that would certainly make sense....

I woke up feeling very queasy this morning.  And my equilibrium feels completely off.  I do not like this sort of thing.  And Kevin S. is coming over for a meeting and I don't know how helpful I'll be because I feel like I'm going to fall over and faint.

I've always assumed that must be how SINGDAW feels on those days when he's singing both church and synagogue services--assuming, of course, that he's also a bit under the weather at the time.
