ZZZZZ! I don't care that it's page ten. BK, George, do not wake me! I'm asleep! Zzzzzz (small z's mean I'm lightly snoring...you wouldn't want me to wake up The Lovely Wife).

Are you wrapping the notes up in cellophane...or Reynolds wrap?

I've been watching TV and now I'm listening to the cast recording of the new musical based on "Happy Days." So far, I'm enjoying the CD. I haven't read the synopsis, so I don't really know what it's supposed to be about, but I like the songs. The songs are by Paul Williams and the book is by Gary Marshall, who created the original TV series.

Wrap up those notes carefully...you'll want them to stay fresh for tomorrow.

A musical of HAPPY DAYS? Has this musical played anywhere significant?

It's the Paper Mill production. I would assume that the aim is to have it play regionally. I don't know if it would work on Broadway.

There was a musical version that was done in Australia in the '90s, but that only had actual 1950s music, not an original score. That version also starred Tom Bosley. I think he was a narrator, though and not playing Howard Cunningham. I think. I have that CD, but it's packed away in my garage.

I don't know if the Australian version had anything to do with this new version, either.

I don't think it's worth what it's available for on either Amazon.com or eBay!
