I, too, am curious about the origins of DR Singdaw's new avatar.

Soon I must get up and go to the gym, but I would much rather stay in bed watching tv with Killbot and Pierre.

Quote from: Jane YesterdayI have asked before, many times  and no one else seems to have the problem I do.  I can no longer highlight the words and click on an action.  I have to cut and paste said action around the words.  Sometimes I miss, and I don't always see what portion I missed when I did the cut and paste.....Does that make sense??

I'm trying to remember to click on the action first & then type in between it, instead of doing a cut and paste after the fact.   That was easier.

Jane, do you use Firefox as your browser? If you do, that could be the cause of the problem. I use both Firefox and IE and when I'm in Firefox I have that same problem. I don't know why that happens because the rest of the site displays withouth problem. Using the actions in the Post Reply box causes problems. If I  want to reply and do something within the reply I always use IE.

If you're having this problem while using Internet Explorer as your browser then I'm at a loss to explain the source of the trouble.

Good morning!  It was very nice to wake up to a bright room!  Between replacing two of the shades with blinds and putting up the window film and removing curtain it was bright and cheery....then the clouds rolled in and it became gray outside, but that will make it easier for me to go to the office and get work done

Better go while I'm still in the mood to get to the office.

I'm deciding if I want to climb up on the roof now and clean off the leaves and pine needles or wait for slightly warmer weather. I think I may wait another month.

So I guess I'll instead head down now to get laundry sorted and ready for washing and then think about what's for lunch.

ATTENTION
BK!!!
[/size]

All Shook Up is playing at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center at California State University, Long Beach (see, you got the town right!)  The link is to their "directions" page.  Good news - there is fairly easy freeway access.  There are links at the bottom of the page for Google maps, Yahoo maps, and Mapquest.

Have fun!  And let us know what you think of the theater, as well as the show!

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And after standing around the stove for a bit, I am now partaking of a nice bowl of Irish Oatmeal (topped with a splash of maple syrup and some dried fruits and nuts), and a half-caff latte. :)

Sunday morning greetings!  For the second week in a row, I've been excused from church in Cincinnati - this time due to illness.  My head is still stuffy and I'm sneezing and coughing.  Enough!

Think I'm gonna make myself some French toast for breakfast and then take a nice steamy shower - maybe that will clear my head.
She's gotten herself excused from church and is going to do something steamy - yep, that's our Ginny!

DR SINGDAW.....nice new avatar!  Kind of a shock first thing in the morning to have an acquaintance turned into a drawing!

Yes, it is. I think I like the REAL Singdaw better. But I do understand. What with his recital at Yale today, as well as his many regular appearances, well, celebrity can get tiresome. Should we be expecting a new CD or two? You will let us know in advance of any TV appearances, won't you?

Ben, it worked!

THANK YOU!  This has been driving me crazy for a several years now. ;D  When I scroll over the symballs I can read what they are again. 8)

Now I'll have to figure out if it is worth the effort to go back and forth between Firefox and IE.

Why can't we just get this to work on Firefox as well?

FEEL-BETTER VIBES for DR GINNY!

I've had a little infection in my lungs lately and I find that the steam from a long shower is actually quite helpful for loosening things up. I probably should have made better use of this option.

Do you bake biscotti often, Jose? I used to make chocolate biscotti. I don't have time these days, but of course it spoiled me. Few store-bought ones please me now.
