Well, you've read the notes, the notes were early and had worms, and now it is time for you to post until the early cows come home late.

And did anyone else catch the dates on Jin's headstone?  I'm a bit confused.  Is it a family plot?  There seemed to be two sets of dates.. someone was born in 1974 and someone else was born in 1980.  How old are they on the show?

Well, 'tis time for me to head to bed myself.  I'm off tomorrow, and I've made tentative plans to go to The Met with a friend.  So...

Goodnight.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Well, I knew beforehand that "Kevin" was going to show up this season, and I was already clued in that he was on the boat, so that wasn't much of a surprise. But the split flashback/forward was a real mindf$%k. I loved how it slowly dawned on you what was going on at the end, a la "The Sixth Sense." And I have to admit, I had a little tear in my eye for the dearly departed, in light of how his character behaved earlier in the episode (I never really cared about him one way or another until last night's show). The Sun eps are among my favorites, because I am totally smitten with Yunjin Kim. Well, last night's opening of Side Show went very, very well!  The only mistake I made was that I didn't switch shoes between two scenes, but since the shoes that I kept wearing were the original shoes for practically the whole show, it was not a problem at all.  Otherwise, we had a great audience, the band was good, the twins and the rest of the cast were all very good.  A great time was had by all. ;D

Nice story.  Is that how you also see them?

I'm pretty sure that they don't wear those dresses, unless they're used when I'm not on stage, but they don't look familiar at all.  Otherwise, the wigs are pretty close to how they're styled for the top of the show.  And they change wigs several times throughout the show.  I actually have two different wigs, one for Dolly Dimples and one for the New Year's Eve party scene and then for the top of the show, the ends of both acts, I use my own hair. :)

DVD: just finished "Pixar Short Film collection"

I acquired this DVD very recently, having thoroughly enjoyed "Boundin'" (seen before the equally charming "The Incredibles"). I hope the rest are equally as good.

Laundry tonight after work, then dinner out, don't know where (and while that happens I run the virus scan since it takes about 90 minutes). Don't know what we will watch tonight when we return home. Tomorrow I will go uptown to Lincoln Center and try to get a ticket to South Pacific. I will then return to Midtown and get a ticket for A Catered Affair and then at 2pm I will see the lovely Brian D'Arcy James and Alice Ripley in Next to Normal. I will then have dinner with my friend with whom I saw the show. Anthony will be in dance class. That's the weekend so far.

DVD - The Brain That Wouldn't Die, not to be confused with The THING That Wouldn't Die, except that both of them wouldn't die - at least until the ends of their respective movies.

Shooting Day vibes for MR BK, who will return this evening with lots of stories....I am sure.

Wiggles and Wallace are two fine doggies.  Loved the pics.  Hopefully Wallace will be as lucky in his quest for a home.

Good morning, all! I'm off to Toyland, and then a luncheon date.  After that, I will drop off some work for Mr Ron Raines and come home to see what fresh hell awaits.

I watched the TOP CHEF rerun last night and the latest eisode of MAKE ME A SUPERMODEL, whose casting director lady judge reminds me of the unpleasant Fran Lebowitz; whenever I see Ms Lebowitz on LAW & ORDER, I remember what a completely hostile bitch she was as a Drama Book Shop customer.  As a result, the SUPERMODEL judge, whatever her name is, drives me a bit crazy.

I've been enjoying SUPERMODEL: the high-powered combination of vanity, ego, and shallowness is quite fun to watch.  As for TOP CHEF, the jury's still out.  I think they sent home the right person, although after the scene of her being antisocial while everyone's socializing, I suspect that the producers knew they had a dead fish on the line.

I also watched the second of the 3-part BBC adaptation of COLD COMFORT FARM from 1970 or so, with Alastair Sim and Sarah Badel.   I love the premise of the novel: putting a Jane Austen character into the violent and sexual farm country of Thomas Hardy and DH Lawrence to civilize them. The BBC version is much more faithful to Stella Gibbon's comic novel, but I still prefer John Schlesenger's version with Kate Beckinsale, partly because of its wonderful cast and their over-the-top performances and also because it avoids the attempt to transfer to the screen - with peculiar visuals - Miss Gibbon's literary flughts of fancy in which she caricatures bad novelists of the 1930's.

DR FJL, I believe Patrick can get us house seats.

TOD:
DVD:  some Netflix films I keep postponing
CD:  Guy Haines, The Brain From Planet X, The Chocolate Soldier, Bluebeard, Liz Callaway
