Heading down now to clean my bathroom, put up the folded laundry, and then get backl to viewing.

Wha', hm, oh, I must've dozed off there...

It's a lazy, rainy afternoon here in SW Ohio.

We've had a call from DS Rob and his girlfriend.  They're on their way here from their spring break trip to her relatives' in Charlotte, NC.

Here's an example of the "rat" shirt. Paul used to paint these on the sidewalks in New York. He took the stencil from the signs they put up when they had put out rat poison in NYC.  We copied his stencil and made the shirts

The green hat doesn't go with the outfit, but it was the color of Paul's hair so that's why I did it. You can't see the rat on it very well

Paul's green hair, lol. He says it's much better than gray.  It's permanent dye.

DR Cillaliz - I don't think that shade of green goes with anything.  It goes against everything!  ;)

Great pics!

The field trip to Zombie Prom was a success. For the most part the kids enjoyed the show and the experience- there was some disappointment that I would not buy them unlimited snacks at intermission. A few were very into the show and later said that they had never been to a live show before, so I'm glad I went to the trouble of organizing.

Thanks Jose, I know exactly what you mean about the green.  The funny thing is you actually get used to it

And now I am sitting in my office catching up on the paperwork that I have largely been neglecting for the last month. :) I was going to leave an hour before rehearsal and take myself out to dinner, but one of my co-workers in the residence was kind enough to bring me a plate of what they're having for dinner bbq chicken and rice. So now I can stay and work longer and save some money to boot.

I'm sure he would, however, we don't give him flour or sugar.

DR Jane - I'll bet your book group would like peanut butter cookies  ;)

I hope to bake them before the next book group meeting at my house.  I might make them again when I host the next meeting.  There is also the September pot luck :)

Well, I think I'm going to head out of the apartment for bit since I've ended up staying in so far all day today.  I also need to get some dinner, so at least I can kill two birds with one stone.

DR Cillaliz - thanks for the photos of last night's event - looks like fun!  Paul's green hair reminds me to tell y'all that at the PLA conference, I saw librarians with purple, orange, and green hair.  Belies my roommate's analysis that most of the attendees were library directors.

I need to feed Callie and Boo  and get back to cleaning.  I hate bagless vacuum cleaners.  How on earth do you empty it without getting dust and dirt all over the place.   Maybe it's just me...

We have had a rule for generations in the Kauffmans--the cook does not do the dishes.  And anyone who's been here can attest I am NOT the cook.  :)

On another, completely unrelated subject:  the vagaries of eBay bidders continue to amuse me.  I have 45 DVDs listed, most of them "big" films like Funny Girl and As Good As It Gets, etc.  The DVD sparking a near-violent bidding war:  Visions of Ireland.   :o
