Are there any Jerry Goldsmith fans here?

Are there any fans of "Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend" here?

If so, a special, limited edition soundtrack of the complete score has been issued by Intrada.  They are expected to move quickly.  A sell-out should occur in days.

www.Intrada.com if you're interested.

BK:  I alerted Sondheim fans who post at www.intrada.com's forum about "Evening Primrose" and left the link to Kritzerland for them to follow.

I left one tod out; Ist sondheim song I heard was "Small World" sung by Johnny Mathis on the radio. But my nine-year old ears misheard;I thought he was singing the title song from FANNY(I'd seen the cover at the Library)as in "Fanny, you're a stranger who's come here...Fannny, I'm a stranger myself here"; "Small World lost the Grammy for song of the year to Johnny Horton's "The Battle of New Orleans" If only the Messrs Styne and Sondheim had learned to write like that, they could have been successful in Cho Business(Actually I like Horton's song, esp when the soldiers fill an alligator with cannonballs after they' run low on weapons"We filled it full of cannonballs and powdered its behind/And when we set the powder off the gator lost his..mind.(Return to chorus).Once I get my copy of PRIMROSE(I have to wait till Fri payday to order)all I'll need to make my Sondheim collection complete is the very hard-to-find MANTOVANI PLAYS SONDHEIM.

Good day one and all

Helping DBF working on pics for a trivia contest for his team... I am stumped and could use some help looking. However rules stipulate we cannot post them on a board. Can I email some of you the pics? Answers have to be kept in email....

Thanks, Ron.  If anyone else has any other ideas about getting the word out, please do it.  The press release went out late last night, so that should show up at some point on the various sites.  I did wake up to 100 more e-mails this morning, and most of those were orders, including another order for 100 (if they can afford it) from the Sondheim Society.

According to my web designer, there is some bug that occasionally happens with Firefox/Mozilla and it's not just to our website but to any flash website.  And at this point, there's no real way around it.  But I've only gotten one e-mail about it, so I think we're probably fine.

Wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles!  My mother's email has been glitchy since before Christmas.  Around the end of January, I got it to where she could receive, but not send.  Just now, here at work, I've gotten several messages from her - she called her provider all by herself and after they asked her to repeat her birthdate (she was born in 1918!), she said they were ver-r-r-ry patient with her.

Geez, DR MBarnum, for as much as you enjoy song and dance in Bollywood movies, don't you think something like GYPSY or WEST SIDE STORY would be appealing to you (or even pique yout curiosity)? We do talk about these shows a lot around here, and the film versions are readily available for rental.

Somehow WEST SIDE STORY was one musical I never saw as a kid, and one day I am sure I will get to it. I don't know from GYPSY.

DR MBarnum - I'm pretty sure that the movie of "West Side Story" is filled with potential interviewees for you!

My very important project has hit a roadblock (surprise, surprise). It appears that duplicate data has been added to the database! No one thought of that possibility before beginning the project. My work is now on hold until they figure out what to do so I'm back to regular work.

If MS Access software is available, you can import any .dbf file and run Queries that will check for, and identify, duplicate records.

My first introduction to Sondheim was hearing the song, "Send in the Clowns".

I have seen several Sondheim musicals: Sweeney Todd, Follies: The Musical, and A Little Night Music

Good Afternoon!

Well, I need to venture to the grocery store, and since the sun has come out today - not tomorrow - I believe a stroll in the Park may be in order this afternoon too.
